Hello! I have been looking for a hard game with amazing art. I stumbled upon rain world. The community has been telling me the game should be hard, especially for beginners in the beginning of the game. However, the game seems to be relatively easy. I'm definitely not a pro-gamer. So, it probably isn't true that I am just amazing at the game naturally.
I'm playing the survivor mode. And, I've encountered lots of green lizards, a purple lizard, and weird flying red bugs with what seems to be a parent bug and baby bugs. The lizards are so incredibly stupid that they don't pose a threat; I just jump over them, and they may follow, but they are easily out maneuvered. The purple one is along the same lines. The bugs just don't bother me (they seem to be safe).
I am wondering if it is supposed to be harder than this. Thank you very much :).
So, which region do you find most fun to play in and which has the best ecosystem? considering the whole Rain world
Is he good? Bad? Morally gray??? Whatever you guys think about him I am almost 100% sure he's way worse. I have a lot of lore planned for my OCs but they don't really have a lot to do with the main rain world story so...

A remake of my very first digital artwork, which I started on the very first day of this year
I was just starting to play the game, so I didn't know much about what the game world was like yet.
Furthermore, I think it's time to post the original so it can finally see the light of day.
I'm playing Rainworld for the first time and I'm stuck in the Subterranean region, Whenever I enter the Depth and I reach the area with the guardians they just murder the slugcat. How do I cross them? Did I miss something?
If needed, this was the pathway I took:
Outskirts -> Industrial Complex -> Shaded Citadel -> Shoreline -> Subterranean -> Depth
Any advice?
