Backstory… I jam with friends with all live instruments, some midi from time to time. But we record each session.

I record drums audio directly out of a Roland TD-17kvx. I would like to use the usb midi out and use addictive drums with that.

The problems is there’s no Roland edrum usb/midi profile for Reason.

If I use addictive drums without reason it works perfect. But if I use AD2 within reason it interprets everything terribly. Like my hi-hat foot controller controls the velocity of my kick drum.

I think I need a guide or advice to remap the drum midi profile in reason, or on the drums.

Thoughts?

I would like to share a few combinator presets that might be good for acid or other similar genres.

Here are the descriptions of what's included:

BigBOB - An 808 drum machine with built in EQ controls and buttons to mute the different drums.

Citris Bass - A 303-style bass synth that has built in controls for changing between sawtooth and square waves, ADSR, foldback distortion, and the filter and filter envelope.

Drive Delay - An effect that passes your audio through a high pass filter, then through a delay, and finally through foldback distortion.

TacticalFM - A fully-featured 4 oscillator FM synth with controls for ADSR, 2 detunes, 2 ring mods, 2 delays, 4 waveform selectors from sawtooth to triangle, 2 choruses, and a octave selector for two of the oscillators.

Hello All, I'm Chris living in SoCal. I purchased Reason 13 and am having a problem with my username / password. When I go to boot up Reason it asks me for the password. I enter what i thought is my password and message says invalid name or password. Then I follow the instructions to reset it and receive the same error message.

I have sent numerous emails to Reason Support and their response is to reset. Can't do that without knowing what my user name is. Very Frustrating. While reviewing the Reason site for support i noticed that Reason was sold to another company?? Can anyone here help me to retrieve my Reason user name and account. Thanking you in advance.

stop falling for the propaganda and just create. i hsve millions of streams under my name and i use stock sounds. people will say anything to get you to stop moving beyond them.

i think it boils down to not being able to utilize the tools you have around you correctly

this isnt even the best example of using stock sounds and presets but i wanted to make a video on the subject and will probably continue making tracks to showcase with stock.

I have some songs I made in an older version of reason 12 that I am now transfering to a newer computer with a newer version and am getting this error on several tracks. I plugged this into ChatGPT but am not getting straight answers. Has anyone had this issue?

Is there a way to automate random colour change when splitting a clip, in order to visually differentiate the parts on the timeline? Thanks

Hey, I’ve been having some trouble recording my piano when setup through reason 14 and was wondering if anyone has any ideas what could help. My current setup is a Korg Triton Studio run into an ONYX 1620i mixer which is being run through a Behringer UMC404HD interface which is then connected to an M4 Mac Mini running Ivory Studios VST for higher end piano sounds.
To record live piano I have a headphone cable connected to a Saramonic SR-EA2D adapter so that I can record through my iPhone.
Everything is able to record normally EXCEPT when I want to record playing piano live, and then the audio is completely silent through the headphone cable.
Do you have any ideas of what I should change to make recording audio live work?

Yeah, there is colour coding, blocks etc but just being able to add a marker to give me a quick visual que for verse, chorus etc would be awesome.

It has now been over 6 months since LANDR bought Reason and I’m wondering what changes people have noticed, either for better or worse.

(Yes, I know Reason 14 was launched in May, but I presume LANDR had little to do with this.)

Is anyone getting any use out of LANDR tools such as mastering, VocAlign, or distro? I picked around with VocAlign a bit, but I never successfully integrated it into my workflow.

Has there been any further information on how LANDR plans to take Reason forward or what it is doing?

Hey, thanks in advance for any help. This is kind of an odd one, at least in my thinking.

Two days ago I updated the OS on my Mac. I went from Monterey (12.4, pretty sure) to Sonoma 14.8.9. I cleaned up some old files and trashed em. I then went into Reason (13) to work on a track. The project was the most recent and it opened up with no issue, not that I would have expected any. I got some work done, saved and closed that project. Then I opened the second-most recent project and Reason, after a bit of a spin on the ol' Pinwheel of Tested Patience, it couldn't locate the file. That file, of course, is sitting in a well-organized folder on my desktop. As of yet, I can only open that most recent project, leaving me staring at numerous projects I'd like to work on.

So! Any ideas? Reason works fine. It just will only open that project (far as I can tell). The computer, overall, works fine. NOTHING else has changed....PLEASE HELP!!! This is exploding my head with bewildered anxiety.
