Hello. Does anyone know how to get rid of the feature adjustment? They restricted my account for 2 month so I’m unable to chat or comment. They said they’re separating the regions. That seems unfair. For a country that allows a free visiting visa of 10 days and welcomes foreigners to come visit their country, I am confused on why they won’t let us use their apps. Rednote is a great app to use for traveling and exploring their country. It’s sad that they want to separate us.
Somehow my account is in the green for everything but my comments and notes aren't being seen... american.
Not sure what is the next course or action.
I already lifted it and could post normally and be seen. But i got a region restriction and lifted it. And now I'm shadowbanned. I went back to this old notification and I can't submit again
My xhs account has been restricted for ages, and i‘ve decided to finally get it back like 2 months ago. unfortunately, the window, telling me to verify my identity has disappeared, so i verified my identity through the settings. nothing happened. i looked back on my restriction notice and it says it will br lifted after i verify my identity, WHICH I HAVE DONE 😭 i‘ve submitted like 3 appeals, but nothing has worked, and i‘m so frustrated. I‘d even delete my account and start a new one but i can’t even do thag because i wouldn’t be able to use my phone number i used on my restricted account. DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY IDEA HOW TO GET MY ACCOUNT BACK OR MAKE A NEW ACCOUNT? i‘m so desperate at this point
Hii!! I need help retrieving back my account 😭 I logged into xhs using my Google account but then I deleted the app bc my phone was running out of storage. I redownloaded it n tried to log back in using my Google account which required me to use my phone number but it kept saying my phone number is alrd registered. Even when I tried to create a new account, it said the same thing..I need help😭
I also tried to retrieve back my old account by js keying my id n phone number but they said "real name authentication is not supported in this region"

after almost two months, the restriction was finally lifted!! here’s how;
last month i made a public post (shown in picture 3) with the following accounts tagged @社区客服薯 @薯队长 @薯管家 with the text “please help” and photos of what my account looked like to me (public) and to my friends (private). within 24 hours i received a message from @社区客服薯 (picture 4), but the message was in a folder titled “from strangers you don’t know” with a red speech bubble icon next to it. the message asked for my response in detail exactly what was happening and what i needed assistance with. i explained that i diligently followed the app rules, have not ever received a violation or suspension, that my views dropped, and that none of my friends were receiving the comments i posted on their notes. not long after sending it, i received a reply that they are forwarding my complaint to others who could help address the issue.
i never heard back, but 5 days ago i received a message from the system (where the surveys are usually sent). i thought this message was just informing me of a new policy as it stated some features are not available in my region anymore. i took a second look at it and tapping it like you tap to open the surveys, brought me to a more detailed page with a button at the bottom. i don’t remember exactly what it said but it was along the lines of “verify” or “verification”. i tapped it, and it brought me to a captcha like box. upon completing the task, my screen refreshed and i received a notice a few seconds later that the restriction was lifted (pictures 2 and 1)!
immediately after that, i started receiving a flood of messages of people liking and replying to comments i had left on their notes weeks ago but that they couldn’t see during the restriction. i made a test post, and sure enough, my friends in china could finally see me again!
so whoever worked their tookis off to help us out with this issue and assist us in getting the restriction lifted, THANK YOU!! 🥰💕💕 and i hope this helps others who are trying to accomplish the same thing

I want to make a cosplay/art account on there but idk I'm a bit embarassed for potential employers to see it for some reason lol. I know if any social media account is public there's a chance of it being seen but it's such a miniscule chance for someone potentially wanting to hire you to stumble on it out of millions of other accounts if you don't put your real name on it. But I was curious if it'll show your profile much more to people in your area the way tiktok does. Even if I don't put my real name they might recognize my face or whatever. Although I don't think too many people use rednote where I live anyway so I'm probably worrying too much
Anyone having trouble loading rednote? Only app that im haven't trouble with
My rednote account has been invisible to others for 2 weeks now. Messages can be send to me, but when I send them no one sees them. When I join live rooms people can see that I joined but noone sees my messages. I also already asked the costumer support for help but they always tell me that they will speed up my process only, but it has been two weeks already and people have been messaging me asking if something is wrong 🥹 can’t reply to them at all.
Does anyone know how to fix this?
A month ago I replied to a few people afterwards I got the notification that I am muted for some reason and I handed in a appeal- taking some time off thinking tjis might fix it hut turns out afterwards I got this? But the one who operates my account is ME!!!
Is the APP throwing foreigners out once again or something? Should I delete the account and make a new one? But I don't think we can use the same passport 2, right? WTF.
I randomly noticed this “permanent restriction” notification in-app today, so I figured I had nothing left to lose by trying to lift the restrictions.
Pressing that button led me to a verification screen (I think it showed me a few pictures in a grid and asked me to select the ones that showed vehicles with wheels). Once I completed the verification task, I was taken back to my notifications page and saw that my restrictions had been lifted. I double-checked this by looking at my 小红书 page on a web browser; it no longer says “this user hasn’t posted any notes” and instead displays a few of mine before prompting me to login to see more.
I’ve emailed and messaged official support numerous times and, while I have heard back in-app, it was nothing helpful and I honestly don’t trust that my account won’t get restricted at random again. I don’t own (and can’t afford) a passport, so I can’t do that sort of verification even if I wanted to. But I’m celebrating the small wins today! 🥂
