I have purchased a 1 year RedPocket GSMA plan, and paired it with an iPhone, but it's too complicated for my [very] elderly mother. Can someone please recommend a new or used elderly friendly flip-phone that is compatible with their GSMA plan!

I made the mistake of buying an AGM M8 flip (eBay), only to discover it will only work with GSMT. RedPocket customer service tells me there's no way of converting my brand new GSMA plan to GSMT. So, instead, I'm looking for an inexpensive flip phone - just for phone calls.

My mom is over 90 years old; I would prefer large buttons and no "extra" buttons on the keypad. The AGM M8 was ideal due to its large size (easy elderly grip) and extra long battery life (14 days on standby). My mom is in and out of the hospital, so a phone that lasts more than a week is ideal. You don't think of "let me grab the charger" when being transported by ambulance.

Please recommend a new/used flip phone with good battery life that is RedPocket GSMA compatible.

Is it a hard cap of 200 megabytes?

Or is it unlimited throttled data after the high speed allotment is used up?

The $30 ebay plan used to be only the T-mobile network, and now it shows it's on AT&T. If you have a T-mobile sim already and you buy this plan as a renewal, will it work?

Hi, I purchased the $30 annual plan to use it the WiFi calling and text service while in Bangladesh. I’m in US right now and turned on the WiFi calling. I called the customer service to make sure everything is fine and they are now saying that with this plan I can only make/receive phone call via WiFi but cannot send/receive text messages for which I need to purchase a separate roaming credit. But before I had known that with this plan I can do both call and text if I’m connected with WiFi just like Tello. Can you please advise?

I admittedly have not used eBay for years. I keep hearing there is a $30 or so deal where you can get just talk and text and almost no data for a whole year on eBay. Can you buy it on there and get an immediate ESIM, or do they have to mail you a physical sim for that deal?

Everything is working fine with my local dual esim for data and 30 annual talk and text with gloabal coverage . Quick question for other experienced users…. The talk and text is fine but limited . I noticed sometimes my talk and text sim will have no bars but it’s says calling over cellular data (of the 2nd esim) however this only happens when the talk and text sim has no coverage or bars. How can I force this situation at all times so that I’m using 2nd eSIM data to talk and text all the time so I’m not limited to the 100/100?

What international roaming is included in the GSMA family plan? I can see what is included in essentials/plus/premium, but for the family plan there are no tiers?

I must be missing something however since the family plan actually looks more expensive than individual plus lines?

Since I’m not attached at the hip to my red pocket, Verizon-powered iPhones 17, I bought a cellular-enabled Apple Watch thinking I could add a RP watch plan. I should have looked closer at the fine print.

Since I need Verizon’s towers to get service inside my house, is my only option to leave red pocket? And if so, where should I go. I’ve been with red pocket for over a decade so if I’m giving up my grandfathered plan, I don’t want to give it up if any other options.
