La mattina dell'11 luglio, comincia finalmente la data tanto attesa. Kazuya ritira il suo veicolo condiviso prenotato, attacca il segnaposto per guidatori principianti e si prepara a incontrare Chizuru alla stazione di Nerima alle 8:00 del mattino.

Avendo pianificato con attenzione il viaggio alla Mother Farm, controlla il meteo, il percorso, la prenotazione al ristorante e le forniture, rassicurandosi che non sia stato trascurato nulla. Un messaggio di incoraggiamento da Mini gli dà un ultimo slancio di fiducia prima di partire.

Nonostante i suoi preparativi, Kazuya diventa sempre più nervoso rendendosi conto che sta per vedere Chizuru di persona per la prima volta dopo circa un mese e mezzo. Guardando il sedile vuoto del passeggero, immagina lei seduta accanto a lui e capisce che, una volta iniziata la data, non ci sarà modo di tornare indietro.

"Oggi, confesserò a Mizuhara!!"

"Non sarò come il patetico ragazzo che sono stato fino ad adesso, la guarderò dritto negli occhi e dirò: 'Ti amo'...!"

"Non ho idea di quale sarà il risultato finale, ma almeno porterò avanti questa cosa fino alla fine!"

Lungo la strada, la sua ansia cede gradualmente a un'emozione travolgente. Nella sua mente compaiono molte domande come:

"Le piaceranno i suoi vestiti/il nuovo taglio per la ricerca di lavoro? Noterà le occhiaie sotto i suoi occhi? Sbaglierà la confessione? Può chiamarla per nome? Pioverà?... etc..."

Ma nonostante tutto ciò, si rende conto che nessuna di quelle ansie ha più importanza. Tutto ciò che desidera veramente è vederla, ascoltare la sua voce e parlarle in questo momento.

"Voglio vederla, voglio vederla così tanto..."

"Non posso più sopportarlo!!!"

Arrivando vicino alla stazione di Nerima intorno alle 7:54 del mattino, cerca nell'area affollata di incontro, chiedendosi se Chizuru sia già arrivata.

Poi Kazu finalmente avvista Chiz standing fuori, vestita per il loro appuntamento con orecchini a farfalla. La vista di lei lo lascia sbalordito, arrossito e visibilmente sopraffatto. Il capitolo termina con Kaz che arrossisce intensamente, il cuore che batte senza sosta mentre Chiz è in piedi accanto al finestrino dell'auto con un'espressione leggermente arrossita sul viso.

Prossima volta: Incontro faccia a faccia.

Spoiler già uscito … capitolo pieno di pippe mentali di kazuya come al solito.

Non sarò più patetico dice kazuya… se ne è convinto….

Prossimo capitolo incontro faccia a faccia… vedremo cosa ha detto umi a chziuru o questo avvera il giorno dopo? Avremo un altro capitolo di pippe mentali vecchio stile dove kazuya ci parla in dettaglio di come è vestita chziuru e di quanto è bella e divina? O vedremo chziuru che gli dirà ma che cazzo di capelli ti sei fatto?

The chapter begin with the empty theater after the play end. At home, after taking a shower, Chiz lay in bed and recalled what had happened on the night of their previous date.

The flashback begin upon they returning home, Kaz asked if she was okay or needed help walking, but she told him she was fine, and they both went to their own rooms.

Alone in her room, Chizuru broke down in tears, sitting with her head buried in her arms as she thought about turning Kazuya down earlier. Chiz thought it might be better to just end like this because she still doesn't really know about her own feelings. She didn't want to play innocent or ignore it.

"He was wonderful again today."

"But if I dated him as though I were simply taking responsibility…"

"Is it really okay to go out with him for a reason like that…?"

"Wouldn’t that be disrespectful to him…?"

Chizuru questions whether entering a relationship while still uncertain about her feelings would ultimately be disrespectful to Kazuya. Guided by her grandmother’s advice not to take others' goodwill for granted and Kazuya’s reminder that one cannot rent their true self, she struggles with her inability to be honest with her emotions. Deep down, she admits that what she truly wants is simply wish for him to wait for her just a little longer.

"This is fine. This is for the best..."

"I already told him we can't be together"

"Surely, if time passes, his feelings for me will fade. He'll surely forget... all about me..."

Suddenly, a gust of wind blew into the room. When Chiz got up to check, she noticed her grandmother's framed photo had fallen face-down on the table. Seeing that made her break down in tears all over again.

Back to reality, reflecting on her feelings, Chizuru realizes that while she does not necessarily believe in fate, she feels as though her grandmother is urging her to be more honest with herself and take a step forward. Encouraged by these thoughts, she decides to pick out her outfit for the next day. Just as she sits up, her phone vibrates with a late-night call from Umi. He apologizes for calling late and mentions that although he could not attend her theatrical performance, he heard praise for her performance from industry professionals. He then tells her that he has something to discuss with her.

And then the pov shift into Chiz's narrative.

"However, the next day, July 11th."

"And the day after that, July 12th."

"Everything that happened on that date..."

"Neither I..."

"Nor Grandma..."

"Nor anyone else..."

"Had any way of knowing yet..."

And then the morning of the next day rises.

Next time: "After a month and a half break."

Come volevasi dimostrare un capitolo dal punto di vista di chziuru.

Lo spettacolo è stato messo da parte come nulla fosse nella storia da parte di reiji così come il discorso del biglietto.

Chizuru pensa a quando lo rifiutò. Non sarebbe irrispettoso uscire con lui in quel modo? Per me lo è stato proprio uscirci insieme sapendo che lo avrebbe rifiutato (del resto si portò dietro l’anello).

Pensa alla nonna che gli diceva di non tirare troppo la corda… ma chziuru sembra non comprendere perché si approfitta del fatto che kazuya le disse che avrebbe aspettato anche anni.

Tornando al presente chziuru pensa al fatto che sayuri la invitava a fare chiarezza con i suoi sentimenti. Decide di scegliere cosa mettersi il giorno dopo e arriva la telefonata di Umi.

Umi le deve parlare. Di cosa?

Poi come spesso capitato nella storia di questo manga con kazuya, la chziuru del futuro mette hype su quello che succederà nei due giorni successivi. Il solito reiji…

Prossimo capitolo dopo un mese e mezzo.

Quindi l’appuntamento ci sarà e per me è già una sorpresa perché non vedo come possa aver fatto chiarezza dal nulla. Su umi possibile che reiji voglia sfruttare il ruolo da cattivo tipico delle fan fiction lette in rete?
Sul parlare di cosa credo che sia inevitabile che voglia parlare del triangolo. Cosa ne pensa lei di questa cosa più che ruka sta soffrendo.

Su cosa potrà succedere nei due giorni? Sento odore di ruka … possibile che anche lei sarà alla fattoria per qualche motivo? Ho pensato pure a Mami e Sumi così da chiudere tutte le storie secondarie… ma sarebbe veramente una forzatura. Sospetto che le sottotrame di queste siano praticamente chiuse pur non risolvendo nulla soprattutto per Mami, mentre per ruka inevitabilmente qualcosa dovrà succedere.
O ruka o problemi di salute di Nagomi… sarebbe un ritorno all’inizio della storia
