I've seen plenty of mediapipe examples using Touch Designer, but not many (any?) using Resolume directly, so I asked Claude.ai (not claude code) to help me as I don't know Python at all.

The code wasn't perfect, but I know enough coding in general to polish it a bit and I am delighted and excited by the proof of concept.

Now to come up with some fun ideas...

Content was rotoscoped (with Ae) video footage of my wife spinning on her pole! Mixed live in Arena w/ custom wire effects controlled by Open Stage Control, launchcontrol XL, and a midi fighter spectral.

Hi everyone, I'm building a custom VJ controller (line: Cazador Digital) using a Raspberry Pi Pico (RP2040).
The Problem: When I flash it as a Keyboard, it works fine (sending a, b, c). When I flash the MIDI code, the MIDI Monitor sees the notes perfectly, but as soon as I open Resolume Arena, the software freezes or hangs.
Has anyone experienced Resolume freezing with DIY MIDI devices? Is it a buffer issue or a descriptor problem? Thanks

I just finished the first fully functional beta version of this program/extensions, its basically chaser on steroids, more functions, the options to save and load different screens/presets automatically, depending on what is open in resolume and generally a more smoother experience, i also made a trial version and if somebody wants to send me a dm i will be giving out the links to download because i want user feedback and more features that users would like

I’ve finally finished (more or less building the windows release for a VJ library organising tool, much like what DJ's have, but for videos), it integreates with resolume through REST WebAPI
AAAND~ I managed to mangle out a preview for dxv files, christ on a cracker that took a while.

The big point right now is that this is a BETA demo, its limited to exporting 10 clips at a time but if you like the general gist and wanna try the full version, give me a message here or an email (the app will have it in the help section)

The TLDR of features:

The idea is pretty simple: make it faster to tag, rate, preview, group, search, and write metadata back into files, without needing to constantly rename folders or keep giant spreadsheet notes beside your clip library.

The current beta demo can:

• import clips by drag-and-drop or folder scan
• show thumbnails and preview clips
• search by filename, tags, and collections
• add/remove tags across selected clips
• create collections/playlists
• add ratings
• show codec, FPS, alpha, quality, and resolution info
• relink missing files if folders move
• import existing metadata from files
• export metadata back into file properties using ExifTool
• write tags, ratings, artist, year, media created, and collections/genre fields where supported

Hello everyone! Had a probably stupid question, was looking to get clarification. I have an Akai APC40 MK II, and use it to control visuals for our church video wall. The specific blocks in the photo aren't important, I just threw stuff in to light up the controller. My goal was to set it up to where I can sort of "view switch" between the first 8x5 box I have highlighted and the second. The first shows up in the LEDs by default once I programmed the buttons on the controller itself, but I do not see a way to set any of my buttons to move my view over to the second box's area. Is this achievable? Or am I left to only making 8x5 cuelists and then switching to an entirely separate set of cues to another 8x5 set? I apologize if this is a stupid question, I'm just looking for clarification. Any insight would be greatly appreciated!
