I’m a longtime Filofax (A5) user. Retired and no longer need that much storage. I’m intrigued by the personal/bible size binders such as Plotter or MeePlus.
Before I jump all the way in, is the a less expensive option or brand to try out?
I was inspired by YouTube to pull out my pocket Malden, and I’d completely forgotten that I had an unused 2015 diary, that corresponds to 2026!
I’d even made a note on it to remind me. At least I didn’t find it in December…
I’ve been experimenting with different ways to securely attach my iPad Mini inside my A5 MeePlus binder that still allows it to be removed as needed. I think I’ve finally found the solution. I wanted to post this in case anyone else was interested in doing a similar mod. I used only the back plate of an Elago case (Amazon for around $25 USD) and attached the plate using double sided 3M tape. The iPad itself can be easily removed from the binder when it’s not needed. I love the end result of having a nice, clean, minimalistic solution where all of my items are self contained within one binder when moving from one work meeting to another or sitting in a coffee shop catching up. It’s also super convenient as an Ereader when I want to read and take notes in my binder at the same time. The binder in these pictures is an A5 MeePlus Bridle with 16mm rings.

i’ve been a devoted Personal-size Filofax user for a few months now and i absolutely love it and carry it with me everywhere. but, yesterday i randomly managed to score a Pocket Filofax for dirt cheap (£3!) and i’m a bit stumped trying to figure out what to use it for.
basically, i’m just looking for some inspiration from folk who might also use two Filofaxes on a regular basis. i’m not keen on just leaving my Personal at home (it’s my baby), so i want to have a reason to carry around both! thanks! :3
Not sure if I’m being too picky. Currently using a Kikki.k personal size planner with 30mm rings (this was my first ever rings planner).
Love the page size and the flexibility, but find it’s a bit bulky, so looking for a slimmer profile. I know Filofax do a compact range but would love to splurge on real leather if possible, and I think the only one I can find from them is the Saffiano? Does what I’m looking for exist:
- personal size
- 15-16mm rings
- real leather

I am curious if there is anything available for Plotter/Filofax/Meeplus A5 and/or Plotter Bible (MeePlus Personal) size with the following properties:
I really like MeePlus thick paper, but it is not white at all, and has branding.
NotebookTherapy paper would do wonderfully — but 160gsm may be too thick.
Tomoe River / Rhodia kind is too thin. But this I'd tolerate, if not too much ghosting, out of despair.
Any non-diy options?..

So I'm recently very into ring binders and lately I have been wanting to buy 2 designs. 1 is a design that's not usually available and I've had my eye out for it for some time now. The other is a design I really like to have too, stock is good and the price is lower than usual. I might not be able to use these at the same time but I also see myself having my moments with each, such as for a mood or a season. How do you deal with this? I'm trying to be careful not to impulse buy but still really wanting it both. Lol. Help.

I have an M5 ring binder and im obsessed! I love the size and the different paper you can get for it but as you can see from the picture my little strap is holding on for dear life!
Im looking for a m5 binder that doesnt need a strap, its more like a book if you know what I mean.
Im from the UK. Dont mind importing if i love it but no aliexpress recs please because ive fallen out with them 😂
