I used to play league with friends a few times a week. I had fun. On occasion. Then riot decided to end support for my version of windows 10 (it was an older version of it). Vanguard would no longer launch on my windows 10 computer. I sat with this for months. And finally decided to grab a spare ssd and build an entire dedicated windows 11 drive JUST for riot. I did so, and it worked for like a week. But what started happening was I would launch the client. get into league. Click play. join friends. Find a match. Spawn in nexus. Start walking to lane, and I would be kicked out of game as "You need to have vanguard running to play".
All my friends would exit to menu as a remake. Make a new party. Now we have to sit there for 5 minutes waiting out a penalty timer. Launch a new game, NOW it works.
but this consistent penalty timer has made it impossible to enjoy playing with friends.
So now Ive just moved to linux altogether and have had to put down riot in general.
I hope they eventually decide to figure it out.

It's time for players to stand up for fairness in gaming and demand a system that reflects true skill, rather than one that prioritizes profit at the cost of the player experience.
