If you could bring one Robot Wars robot back for one more fight, who would it be?
Some robots just feel like they had more to give. Maybe their run ended because of a bad matchup, a mechanical problem, or one unlucky moment, and we never really got to see their full potential. It would be great to see one of those machines get another proper fight and find out how it would hold up against the robots of today.

After eight months away I have decided to return to designing at Rebrickable on a 'part time' basis. Here are my latest designs which are based on robots that featured in the BBC series Robot Wars. Included are Hypnodisc, Chaos 2, Razer, Pussycat, Wheely Big Cheese & Terrorhurtz.

Which Robot Wars robot was genuinely unlucky with how its fights played out?
There were a few robots that seemed to have everything needed to go further but kept getting caught by bad matchups, mechanical problems, or one unlucky hit at the worst possible time. Not necessarily the best robots of the series, just the ones where you look back and think they could have had a much better run.

Wheely Big Cheese (S4-5) and Glitter Bomb (S8)
Saw these bots today at an event in Llangollen, and had a really good talk with the team. First time I've actually seen one of the robots in the flesh, honestly in awe. Really felt welcomed by the team & had a really good talk with them all, basically became the talking point of mine and my partner's day!

Hypno-disc was always given favourable match-ups (and still messed up) and I'm tired of pretending they are among the greats
Title is a bit provocative for humour but seriously
>They went through season 3 without encountering a flipper until the finals, also really suspicious that the grand final match ups were Firestorm/Chaos 2 and Hypno/the bot that wasn't supposed to be there but would get absolutely ruined by the disc, Hypno has a track record of avoiding Firestorm
>Season 4, again, avoiding flippers and getting matched with Robots that were the least resistant the disc, poor Splinter
>Season 5, obviously rigged for Hypno-Razor final but they messed up again god damn Bigger Brother
>Season 6, at this point, everyone armoured up so they get a pass here

Crazy how it has been 8 years since Series 8 got an American dub on the Science Channel.
Each Episode aired before a rerun of BattleBots Season 3 in August 2018. It used to be be avaliable through On Demand services and the commentary was almost entirely copied by the late sports commentator Bill Seward. Dara and Angela still make an appearance.
