So, I used to do group roleplays when I was younger back on a website called Notebook.ai (note: not an actual ai website. It was a way for writers for organize things for characters and such, and roleplay became a thing on its discussion boards), and I had a blast with it.

At some point I took a years long break, and by that point roleplaying on Notebook basically had died, which eventually led me to here and discord.

Since then I've gotten back into one on one roleplays with people, but I kind of miss group roleplaying. I've attempted to get into some servers on discord, but things usually get out of hand pretty quickly with fast responses and I end up leaving because I feel like I've fallen behind.

Does anyone know any Roleplay servers that are good for beginners who are trying to enter the space again?

I'm not replacing anyone, just collecting more roleplayers to do fun plots with!

Hello, I'm a 26 year old male with about 10 years of roleplay experience under my belt! I'm looking for someone that is an adult like me to play a female character to do a purely cute and wholesome, slice of life based roleplay, the kind that makes you go 'awwwwww!' as you pick up a teddy bear and give it a hug, with a high preference for a family based plot. Something like a mother and son, aunt and nephew, etc that will remain wholesome and cute, I swear if any of you suggest otherwise, you're getting blocked! I will say though that I can be convinced on other plots as long as they stay wholesome.

Of course, there will be some of drama in it, some arguments that will occur between our characters to keep things interesting. I want something family based potentially, or maybe something with roommates or childhood friends. Personally, I just really enjoy that wholesome innocence in a roleplay, a place where no wrong can occur, nothing super bad is present. This could be anything from a mother and son, to an aunt and nephew, or a possible romance with childhood friends or college classmates. To be extremely clear once more, THERE WILL BE NO ROMANCE WITH FAMILY CHARACTERS. Absolutely none of that, don't even ask.

Some potential settings/idea based could be something like a zoo trip, maybe a camping vacation, halloween night, or perhaps a holiday feel like something with Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter, or Halloween. I could really go for a festive themed roleplay, just something with that cheeriness and fun setting!

I'm sorry for saying this a third time, but it just keeps happening...

And I cannot stress this enough, cute and wholesome, super fluffy, and just comforting. Yes I've had people try stuff that's the opposite of cute and wholesome, no I have no interest in a roleplay containing that, no you cannot convince me to.

Ideally, my partner should be at least literate, have good grammar and punctuation and writes in 3rd person. Usually I can maintain a minimum of five paragraphs per response without issue.

basically I am looking for someone willing to make a Peter Parker/Spiderman oc and for that character to struggle in the same/similar way Tom Holland's Peter struggle. I'm talking the black eyes, uncontrollable anger, that sort of thing. I really wanted to create a different version of MJ, so that my character doesn't sign her death certificate by being with Spiderman. my ideas were that they could be lab partners, she could be a scientist that could help. it doesn't have to aligned with the canon, ultimately my goal is to have fun and let the creativity flow. I really want some angst in there all of that is to be decided. I love multilple side characters, side characters pairings, outfit pictures, playlists - just immersive stuff in general.

I am familiar with all Spiderman movies, a couple of comics, but if there's anything new for me from the canon, I will happily do my research or won't afraid to ask for an explanation.

Hello! I'm 28f, I'm wanting to do a zombie apocalypse plot.

It has been eight years since the outbreak. The world above is almost unrecognizable. Cities have been swallowed by weeds and forests.

Highways are clogged with rusting vehicles. Buildings have collapsed, burned, or simply been left to rot. The infected still wander through the ruins, some shambling aimlessly while others are frighteningly quick when they notice movement.

Humanity didn't disappear completely.

There are still hunters, scavengers, raiders, and isolated survivors scattered across the country. Some are friendly.

Some aren't. And she has learned never to assume which one she's dealing with.

Bunker 17

Deep beneath a mountain sits Bunker 17, an old Cold War facility that was originally designed to support hundreds of people for years. Now there is only one person living inside it. She has been there for years. She has turned the enormous underground complex into her own home.

The bunker contains:

A hydroponic garden

A water purification system

A workshop

A medical room

A generator room

An armory

Storage rooms

A radio room

Living quarters

A large underground fuel reserve

Multiple emergency exits

Massive blast doors

The problem is that the bunker was never designed to operate indefinitely without maintenance. Everything is slowly breaking. And the bunker is far too large for one person to properly maintain.

So she has become a hunter, mechanic, farmer, medic, scavenger, and guard all at once. Every morning begins with checking the bunker. Every evening ends with wondering whether she has enough supplies to make it through another month.

The Radio Tower

Several hundred yards from the bunker, on the opposite side of the mountain, stands an old communications tower.

It was originally part of the bunker complex, built specifically to allow communication with the outside world.

The tower is still functional—barely.

The equipment room sits at the bottom of the mountain, while the enormous antenna stretches high above the treeline. She regularly climbs it. Every few days, she broadcasts.

Her message is always similar:

“This is Bunker 17. If anyone can hear this transmission, respond. Bunker 17 is operational. Repeat, Bunker 17 is operational. If you are alive, respond.”

Then she waits. Sometimes for minutes.

Sometimes for hours. Nothing. Only static. She keeps transmitting anyway.

Because she refuses to believe she's the last person alive.

You join because you want romance and stories. You make your character, introduce yourself, start looking around...

And somehow, everyone has already paired up.

Two characters are flirting, another pair has an ongoing plot, and you're left wondering, okay... who am I supposed to write with?

That's one of the things I wanted to change.

I wanted a community where you're not dependent on finding one writing partner. Where there are lots of active writers, multiple scenes happening, characters constantly crossing paths, and plenty of opportunities to start something new.

So I ended up creating one.

We're a 21+ advanced literate, Regency-inspired RP centred around romance, courtship, scandals, politics, and character-driven storytelling. We're 40+ members strong and very active, with our first Social Season already underway.

There are a few spots left for writers who want to jump into a community where there's actually someone around to write with.

The most dangerous thing about Pandora? It isn’t the lush jungles or open plains, it’s not the large and colorful creatures that can easily tear a man in half, it’s not the na’vi who call Pandora home. No the most dangerous thing about Pandora, is that you may grow to love her to much.

And yet the humans can’t seem to see that. That the planet they are mining and polluting is something more than what they see on the surface. Can’t seem to understand why the Na’vi are fighting till their last breath to protect it. And while the humans who stayed behind to help fight back against the RDA are trying their damnedest to stop the wildfire. One may question if it’s enough.

Okay so. This is a little weird and I may need the help of people with somewhat esoteric knowledge sets.

A friend and I want to do a Dragon Ball meets DCU kinda thing but there is an inherent problem with it. While almost everyone from the DC universe can theoretically destroy the earth or something with creative applications of their powers or with whatever calculations helped Cuborg backhand Superman that one time or something, the problem is that dragon ball's power scaling is very linear and very direct.

I guess if I had to boil it down to an example it would be:

How do you apply DBZ power numbering to "Moves fast enough to create lightning but probably couldn't tank a bolt to it to the face but probably could because being a speedster actually means you kind of need nuclear durability, but you don't somehow?

For Context the basic idea is Z-Fighters vs Crime Syndicate (Who are basically an evil version of the Justice League).

I’m currently looking for one or two new long-term roleplays.

Here are a few things about my roleplay style and requirements:

- As for the length of my replies I tend to use is semi-lit. I expect +7 sentences per messages per response, that add something to the story. No novella, since I feel like characters end up interacting less.

- all characters and participants must be over the age of 18.

- I'm around the age of 20 and would prefer if you were around the same age as well

- i’m from germany, so my time zone is GMT+2.

- i only accept realistic face claims. No anime’s, self drawn characters and please don’t rp as yourself. I enjoy chatting outside the rp, but I really want to keep real life and the rp separated

- if you don’t want to include nsfw, please let me know right away

- genres i prefer not to roleplay are fantasy and historical or medieval settings

- I enjoy adding multiple characters to a story to actually create a rp world. So please be open to playing more than one character

The princess has grown up to be a young, independent woman who stands up for herself. Yet her father wants her to stay safe and hires a bodyguard to take care of her. The problem? Both of them don’t really get along

> detective x criminal
He’s a detective, coming home frustrated every night because he just can’t solve the case he’s working on. What he doesn’t know? The person he’s been searching for all along is his wife he comes home to.

Those are only a few ideas I had in mind, but feel free to share any idea you still have in mind. Preferably messy dynamics with more mature topics and complicated relations.

hello! i hope you’re having a good day. i really want to write a forbidden romance between a princess and her loyal knight, i want adventure, realistic romance, angst and drama. i want to write a story where their relationship grows, they go through impossible situations, they worry about their secret being found out, maybe she’s betrothed so someone. i want this to be a very creative roleplay almost like collaborative writing, you give me ideas, i’ll give you ideas and so on and so forth.

Hi all! Thanks for reading my request! I ask that if you are interested in some ideas I may have and so on, that you be over the age of at least 25 years old, as I myself am over that age and then some lol.

I have a strong love for slice of life and writing in historical scenarios too, with one I have an idea for. And I love stories that build and throw in some conflicts, drama and plot twists so the story can remain alive and thriving.

I do have rules though as expected. I’ve been rping now for well over 15 years and I have had the good, the bad and the ugly of every kind.

I am consistent in my replies unless life happens. I am married with a child who has a disability and I also work a full time job so rping is a break from reality for me. But I make time, especially if the story is good.

I do not use AI responses and I would appreciate you don’t use it as well. Use it for pictures? Sure! I do all the time for references. But I HATE responding to an AI post. At that point, I might as well rp with a robot.

I’m open to many ideas as well but again, I do have my rules and feel free to ask about them. I promise I have the experience to create a great story. Thanks for reading!

Rabbit here and on the search again. I am a 35 married woman who has been RPing on and off since the early days of Gaia. I can write anywhere from one to several paragraphs. I try to do my best with grammar and spelling but mistakes do happen. (I have memory problems due to chronic pain/depression/medication, so please bare with me)

My characters tend to be in their mid 20’s and up. I play male, female, or non-binary, gender fluid characters (that being said, I can play gay, straight, pan, bi, etc.) 3rd person POV is highly preferred! But I can work with other POVs if asked nicely.

I am in the central time zone and more active in the mornings and early afternoons. 9am/10am-3pm (I am not online on the weekends!) I will try to reply at least once a day or few times a week (maybe more depending) 

I do not use discord! But I do use email or google doc

It is the same ad I'm posting each time, and I believe I'm following all the rules of each subreddit, so I think it is a site-wide filter that's filtering me out. I have messaged the mods of each subreddit about this, but I don't know how long it will take to, or if they will, get back to me

I was just wondering if it's a case of my account being too new and/or not having enough karma? I built up some karma initially by just answering questions on r/AskReddit, but I stopped doing that as soon as I was able to post my ads. Should I maintain more regular activity on this account so it doesn't look suspicious, or is there any other remedy?
