How to reconnect to Wi-Fi without completely resetting the Roomba?

I have two model 105's on different floors.
Yesterday one needed help and said it was disconnected from Wi-Fi. I did the troubleshooting steps and was in the screen to change or reconnect wi-fi. It ended up completely reseting the Roomba requiring a new map.
Well, today the second Roomba has done the same thing. How can I get it to reconnect to my wi-fi without a total reset and remap?
I must be missing something that causes it to need a new map like I was setting it up the very first time.

Edit to add that the app is telling me one unit did a software update yesterday and the other says today. I'm not sure if that is accurate or an artifact from resetting.
9.4.8 (I3.6.152) on both.

What roomba model for me ?

Hey ! I just move to my first place, it's 50m² so quite small imo for the need of a roomba.

I want a cleaner that's the cheapest possible while still working quite well (let's say under 300 bucks). Do you have any recommandations ?

If it's another brand, it's also absolutely fine

Roomba 100 combo keeps doing this, even after a factory reset.

I have no idea why it’s doing this. I went to set it to mop and it said it wasn’t detecting the mop pad. Took the bin out, cleaned the contacts, made sure water was full, reattached the mop several times and it would just be stuck in this loop.

I did a factory reset and once it turned on after the factory reset, it went back into repeating itself. I have no clue what to do.

Roomba 980 Not Charging

My Roomba 980 stopped charging / functioning a couple of weeks ago. I’ve thoroughly cleaned the contacts on the charging base and also the contacts on the Roomba itself using isopropyl alcohol and a Magic Eraser — and I have also replaced the battery. Still no luck. The Roomba is making a low-volume “chirping” sound every 15 seconds or so, and I cannot seem to “wake it up.”

Any suggestions (other than taking a 12 ga. shotgun to it)? Thanks in advance.

Does anyone know where I can find a replacement part for this wheel insert?

Bought an i8+ off Facebook marketplace and after getting it home saw it only had 1 sweeper because it seems like the plastic piece you screw the brush into is broken/ missing. Am I SOL for this piece? Thanks!

Roomba 650 not charging

I've had this roomba given to me from a friend that was moving. He said that it was working but had sat in storage for a little before he gave it to me.

I've had it plugged in for over an hour now and stays in this boot mode or something.

Has anyone got an idea what's wrong with it or maybe a new battery is needed.

I have a multimeter to test

Roomba to replace my 690?

the 690 is very dumb and has a small chamber which fills up on the cat litter immediately so looking for a newer model that i can buy used or refurbished that can handle wood floors and cat litter and not eat up power cords, get stuck and do all that dumb stuff. i have a small apartment and my main concern is getting the litter box area cleaned so i don't have to walk on litter all day. what's the best model or models for this. It doesn't have to have the mop (i'm not clear if those are considered worth it or not). but this model is dumb and basically figures out where it is by bumping into everything and never cleans where i need it to clean. like, right now it's as far away from the litter box as possible and is cleaning an already clean area.

New Roomba takes all day to clean a 400 sqf space

I had started at 7:34am and forced it to stop around 9:30pm. I got this to replace my first irobot that would clean the place in just an hour or so. My settings for this new one was only spot clean on the lowest setting, no mopping, just light vacuuming. I’m about to send this back to Costco, incredibly disappointed with this. Has anyone else dealt with this before?

Weak Robot?

My Roomba i6 can't seem to get up the ramp to dock any more. It tries 3 or 4 times, then turns around and scoots away to sulk in the middle of the floor 6 feet away with its back to the dock.

I have cleaned the sensors, the docking station, the little tiny windows and cameras, the wheels, the rollers - everything.

I checked to make sure the front wheel wasn't too low causing the body to hung up; the tread on the main wheels looks good and it isn't slipping. It really seems like the motor powering the main wheels just isn't strong enough any more to power it into place those last 2 inches it needs for it to dock.

I think there’s something wrong with my roomba

I’m unable to push the start button because there’s a small kitten on it…

I just got an old model on marketplace and it works fantastic for pet hair!

Best Roomba for pet hair?

Looking to buy a better Roomba. My house is about 1,000 square feet and hardwood aside from 2 rugs. We have 3 cats so pet hair is an issue. I would really like one that can do the whole house in one or maybe 2 runs. I bought a 105 and that ended up being a mistake as it took multiple charges and almost 12 hours to clean and roughly 6 hours on double pass. I don't want a mop combo and don't really have any preferences outside of what I mentioned. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. My previous model was the 900 series and worked great but replacement parts were getting expensive and hard to find.

Nothing but issues recently

Don't know if I'm alone on this but as of about a month my 100 series is having nothing but issues that are definitely software related..

- Gets to dock but goes back and forth from docking and trying to dock again until it runs out of battery.

- Keeps saying it's stuck when it isn't.

- Gets stuck under a table with chairs where before it didn't.

- Says job it's done when its not

And other weird issues.

Is Roomba killing their machine or in my case they're killing it because I'm fresh out of warranty as of July 19th??

Roomba 105 takes 12 hours to clean 900 square ft.

Bought a Roomba 105 because my last model was 7 years old and replacement parts were getting as expensive as buying a new lower end model. I understand that the 105 is cheap but I have a small house and I assumed that it would work as well as my old one given the time between technological upgrades. I've mapped the house and set everything up. I had this issue last week and was sent a replacement battery from the company as they diagnosed it with a faulty one. I replaced the battery and have had the same results. I have attached images showing the map of my house and the run time. Any help or information would be appreciated. If I need to buy a better Roomba I will be happy to, although I don't want a mop combo and I would prefer one that does not self empty. Also this Roomba is 2 weeks old. Thanks

Roomba Max 775 Combo Mop Issue - Roller keeps lifting and lowering

I'm having a problem where my 775 max combo's mopping roller keeps lifting and lowering, essentially missing half of the floor when I ask it to mop.

Support told me to do a factory reset. Before I go through the hassle, has anyone else been encountering this?

Returning home to charge when it still had a charge.

My Roomba j7+ keeps returning home due to a low battery after about 5-10 minutes of cleaning, despite the battery being fairly full. After it empties itself the battery displays itself as the lowest battery level. Tbf I got this off of facebook marketplace with no prior knowledge of its usage history, how should I fix this? Thanks!

Any ideas what this noise could mean?

It's a Roomba 105 we've had for just about 6 months, but it began making this noise 4-6 weeks ago. Everything (brushes, tank, etc.) is fully cleaned out. Ty in advance for any insights or tips!!!

Roomba 105 Mop Barely Making Contact?

In the video you see the wet floor that is because I put decks of cards on the back for the back end to drag more because if I don't do this the pad barely touches the floor even when the pump makes it saturated wet. The only way it makes full contact is if I saturate it myself at the sink.

Sometimes it makes contact but then again it barely uses the pad and leaves 2 streaks.

This unit is 1 week old. I can return it but I got it from Amazon - am I doing something wrong?

It's like the pump is working but it doesn't want to tilt backwards on its own naturally or let the pad sit fully down, the wheels have no gunk in them.

You’d think that after how many years and machines, they’d create a brush that was easily cleaned of hair!
