>!Yesterday I went to the LUX tour stop in San Diego and had the best time. One of the songs I was looking foward the most was Divinise, one of my favs in the album. So color me intrigued when I see Rosalia singing what seems to be a brand new verse in English, as seen in the video I took. Can someone please explain the context of what was going on please? Is this a new verse or a demo of the song?!<

We saw Rosalia last night in San Diego and I was not prepared. I had not watched any of her performances before going and I can only say that it was such an artistic, moving, beautiful performance, that I had what can only be described as a transcendental experience. I’m a different person after seeing this performance.

Her vocals, the orchestra, the dancers, the lighting, the cinematography all combined to produce one of the most beautiful moments of my entire life. Specifically, the performance of Mío Cristo Piange Diamanti had me weeping. I went online this morning to watch Rosalia sing that song again and I cried again.

I simply cannot overstate how moving this performance was. I saw more performances this morning but I really, really liked how the stage at the Pechanga Arena in San Diego had a smaller, narrower stage than some of the other performances I could find. It made the entire experience more intimate. Thank you, Rosalia, I will never forget last night!

At least she did change mine. I am a portuguese """""artist""""" like many others who dream of making music, and I have been through some shit that included a very dark period where I couldn't even hide myself in my music as I completely lost my identity, no idea what I wanted to do, my sound, nothing felt like what I wanted to sound like, I didn't even know what I wanted to sound like... Not even my hobbies were enjoyable for me anymore, which was a scary place to be in.

Then I started getting into latin music through the magic of the algorithm (thank you algorithm) and got into the El Mal Querer album and the rest history. Her music helped me find sounds, messages that I wanted to convey and my own identity as an artist, so much that I only started taking it seriously after her.

Basically, thank you Rosalia for helping me find myself and making me keep holding onto my purpose. I promise I won't give music up ever again, even if it doesn't ever take off, I will be enjoying it.
