hi i'm joining dhsgsu for bsc. forensic science (totally forced btw) but i'm really very concerned about the city itself as i belong to gwalior and gwalior got a lil night life and fun places to hangout or sum it's not even about night life

my few questions are:

1. there are any fests are like du and bhu?

2. what about placements?

3. if i took hostel will they let me outta the hostel at night?

4. what about classes and daily schedule?

5. is the city is niche like gwalior?

6. will i be able to find people of my age so that we have some similarities?

7. do college have different clubs?

8. do they provide wifi in hostel?

9. the mess and washrooms are ckean or not?

10. are there any hangout spots in sagar cus ive heard the city's very small

11. the city got local market like bada in gwalior or sarojini in delhi?

So I was actually moving to sagar soon, I live in a closeby town and my experience with sagar or bundelkhand hasn't been the greatest. The same churkats and wanna be mawalis are crowding the whole city, so i just wanted to keep my life to myself by keeping it busy with my classes, gym and part time. Has anyone got into any part time? For like 4-6 hours a day which actually has a decent work environment? It'll be my first time working as I just hit the ripe age of 19. I did just finish my school last month, waiting on result. And iam decently well at basic tasks related to computer as that's what I've been using for a long while. As for communication, I can speak english decently fluent if it requires.

I’ve been in Sagar for almost a year now as a student, and honestly, all I wanted was a simple life here — good food, peaceful places to sit and relax, and decent people to vibe with. But most of the time, it feels like everywhere I go, people just act unnecessarily loud, tapori, or keep talking rubbish for no reason. It gets exhausting after a point.

Maybe I just haven’t found the right crowd or places yet, but the city still feels hard to connect with socially. Are there any genuinely chill cafés, libraries, quiet spots, parks, or underrated food places where people actually mind their own business and the atmosphere feels peaceful?

Would really appreciate recommendations from locals or students who’ve had a better experience here. I want to like this city, I just need better places and better vibes around me.
