I’m currently working on a university project about tablet and stylus ergonomics and I’m looking for people who regularly write or draw on tablets to participate in a short survey.

It seems like nearly everyone hates this app now. They need to at least fix the pasting font size bug!

Where do we tell them about it? Is it even possible without speaking Korean?

So i have a samsung table and samsung phone, i use samsung notes for my studies . I want to use Samsung notes in my pc ( windows 11 ) and be able to sync notes

So there any method to do that ( latest and working methods ) ?

Dear Samsung Notes Team,

I am a long-term Samsung Notes user and rely heavily on the application for academic work, handwritten note-taking, and PDF annotation. While the app is already highly functional, I would like to report a persistent issue and suggest a few productivity-oriented features that could significantly improve the overall experience for power users and students.

The primary issue concerns PDF export quality. During export, handwritten content often becomes blurred or rasterized, especially when zooming into exported PDFs. This substantially reduces readability and makes the notes unsuitable for archival, printing, or cross-platform usage. Since Samsung Notes is widely used for handwritten academic material, preserving vector-level clarity during export would be extremely valuable.

Additionally, I would like to suggest the following features for future updates:

1. Tape / Hide-Reveal Tool for Active Recall A “tape” feature similar to Goodnotes or other study-oriented applications would greatly help students in active recall and spaced repetition learning.
2. Improved PDF Export Rendering Please improve handwritten export fidelity so that strokes remain sharp and scalable even after zooming or transferring across devices/platforms.
3. Highlight Layer Rendering Fix Currently, highlighted text in exported PDFs sometimes gets obscured beneath the highlight layer itself. It would be helpful if the rendering order could be adjusted so text always remains fully visible above the highlighter layer.
4. Stabilized Pen Option Adding a pen with stroke stabilization/smoothing similar to Goodnotes would improve handwriting precision and overall writing comfort.
5. Internal Linking / Note Navigation Please consider adding the ability to create internal links between pages, chapters, headings, or notes. This would make Samsung Notes substantially more useful for large notebooks, research work, and exam preparation.

Samsung Notes has enormous potential to become the best note-taking ecosystem on Android tablets, especially for students and professionals. These features would significantly enhance workflow efficiency, knowledge organization, and long-term usability.

Am I the only one who hates the new update , cuz wdym my folders in the shape of a square??, I can't even fully read the title of my lessons . In my opinion the old one is a lot better and more simple , a lot of people use the app to study , I think the overall design it actually making harder to use , I couldn't care less about the animation I just need a simple design to make the use more practical and easy .

I've been losing my mind using it these past weeks. They have to rollback or something man.

Whenever I try to paste text it formats it and I dont like this. How can I turn this feature off? So for example I've got the string "Hello* world*" and when pasting it into a note it becomes "Hello world" (with italic formatting for the word hello)

I like where samsung is headed. Lately there have been many feature drops. Still waiting patiently for table of contents for books and pdfs.
Edit: I just realized they have added dotted lines feature in the pen tool too.

Is there a reason why it's so freaking impossible to use Samsung Notes anywhere other than my phone?

I can't use on my PC as the notes don't all sync - only certain notes sync, and of course the one singular one I need to actually edit doesn't show up. I have tried everything under the sun to get it to sync properly and force everything to sync but it just doesn't, and I think I just discovered it is because there is a max limit to what can and can't be synced. Cool. I can live with this since it's a concrete answer.

As much as I hate Microsoft and OneNote, I decided to try that option. Of course sticky notes on the desktop application don't show the synced notes, so I go to the web version of OneNote. Great, I can't sign in because for some reason I get a notification that I can't use a personal account? Ok, I'm on a work computer, let me pull out my personal laptop.

Great, so I find the feeds feature on the web page, and it says my session is expired and I need to log in again. So I do. Oh? I logged in and it says session expired again. Great, now I'm in a loop where I log in but go no where because my session is always expired and I will therefore always have to log in and will never be able to see my feed.

Has anyone else had a similar issue? I have so many things to update in this one document on my notes app, and doing so on a computer would be ideal so I'm not toggling back and forth between my instagram account and my notes app. I'm at my wits end here and not sure how to fix whatever is going on right now. I could just work only off of my phone but at this point it has become personal so I'm determined to get this to work. Thanks for any advice or help anyone is able to offer!

I need help. I have a Samsung tablet, and I want the notes I write on it to sync with my Obsidian.

The problem is that Samsung Notes doesn’t have a feature to automatically export notes as PDFs—it has to be done manually.

And even if I do it manually, every time I export, it creates a new PDF instead of replacing the existing one.

Do you know of a solution?
