I made a free app for bringing your bike on public transit in San Diego!
I got sick of manually calculating when I need to leave, or how long the trip will take. The app is called Modemix and it’s free.
If you have any feedback, please let me know!

Apparently their ribbon cutting is this Saturday at 9 a.m. with activities til 11 at Fig and Ash st. If your not doing anything this weekend it may be worth checking out!
I'm newer to cycling. I can get around locally, but ideally I would like to bike to campus. However, I am finding it very difficult to get to SDSU from the Lake Murray area. College Ave looks dangerous. Lake Murray Blvd looks okay until about where it hits the 8, then turning onto Alvarado there are no bike lanes. Any advice? Also, what apps is everyone using for bike routes? Are there any good free ones? Thanks in advance.
Hello! Come hang out at Civic Commons in East Village this Friday evening with your local chapter of Pedestrian and Bicycle Professionals sharing highlights from their recent work. All are welcome!!
Hi,
I'll be visiting San Diego and thought it would be fun to watch the Friday night races on August 14. Is there someone I can call to get more information or confirmation the event will be held? There's no phone number on the website.
Also, if someone here has been to a Friday night event at the SD velodrome, I'd like to know more about the viewer experience. I figure I can park in the lot nearby and walk in .... Are there any fees? Anything else my party should know?
Thanks in advance.
