Printed Soft Pure silks like the above images were a rage during 80's. I've seen my aunty wearing these in so many beautiful colors and in floral and paisley prints. I always wanted one.
But now these sarees have become extinct. All that I could find on internet were pre-owned sarees. Any idea where to purchase a fresh piece? And why did these suddenly become so rare?TIA.
Hi all, I am a guy. I am trying to purchase a silk saree online for someone who exclusively buys from local stores. I want to know what are the things to consider while purchasing it online. It is suppose to be a gift so I cannot ask them.
I have seen that once purchased, saree needs to be tailored separately according to the person's dimension especially the blowse part. So is it advisable to buy the saree in raw form (i mean how the local store initially show it)? I dont mind having it stitched after revealing as gift. I am thinking to purchase it from Nalli Silk Saree.
Please help out.
