Is $200 realistic for selling full exclusive commercial rights to an educational activity book (B2B model)?
Hi everyone!
I am working on a complete, 48-page educational human body activity book for kids aged 5–8 (includes coloring pages, puzzles, and interactive biology/science activities).
Instead of listing it for $5–$10 as a standard printable PDF for parents (B2C), my plan is to sell 100% EXCLUSIVE commercial rights to ONE single buyer for $200.
Once bought, I will retire the design completely and never sell it to anyone else.
How the buyer gets a double-profit opportunity (Dual Monetization):
Commercial Publishing / Reselling: The buyer gets fully editable raw/source files (Canva/vector/PDF). They can rebrand it, put their name on it, and publish it on platforms like Amazon KDP, Etsy, or print physical copies for ongoing passive royalties.
Direct Educational / Business Use: If the buyer is a private tutor, daycare owner, or homeschool curriculum creator, they can use it directly within their paid programs/workshops to add value to their students while also reselling printable copies to their clients.
In short: They pay $200 once to acquire a complete, ready-to-market digital asset without spending weeks on design or hiring expensive freelancers.
My Questions:
Do you think framing this as a B2B digital asset transfer rather than a simple PDF makes the $200 price point reasonable?
Where is the best place to find buyers who are actively looking for exclusive Private Label Rights (PLR) or done-for-you educational content (e.g., specific subreddits, Facebook groups, or marketplaces)?
Has anyone successfully sold exclusive commercial rights to a single buyer before? Any tips or red flags to watch out for?
Thank you so much for your feedback and insights!
