Is something targeting my car?

First time Seat owner. Did not have any trouble with martnes or anything like those with my previous cars.

Found a worn down part beneath my 2025 Leon.

5FA 864 237 A - should be a PUR filler piece. (First slide). Noticed similar damages on parts that seem also to be made of Polyurethane.

Is this common wear and tear to Seat Leons or is there anything tormenting my car?

Took my new wagon camping

Handled the light off-roading nicely where my old E46 would have gotten stuck, got 4 people in (including me) and all of our camping gear, I love this thing

Seat leon oil leak

Hi everyone, I have a 2016 Seat Leon 1.4TSI with a very small brown oil leak. It seems to be collecting on the upper side of the bell housing and down the side of the engine (see circled photos). There is only an occasional tiny drop underneath, and the engine oil level has not dropped noticeably.
Does this look like a leak from the valve cover/timing cover, rear main seal, or could it be coming from the turbo oil feed/return pipes? Has anyone experienced something similar on the 1..4TSI? Any advice would be appreciated.

Charging port cover spring

We have a Seat Tarraco e-Hyrbrid. The spring from the charging port cover is stuck. Normally the spring comes out when pushing the cover but now it doesn’t come out. I already put a little bit oil in it but it doesn’t help. Before it was completely stuck, it already was a bit stiff.

Report also in Tiguan because I think it is the same part because it is both VAG Group.

SEAT Leon 1.5 TSI DSG Random Battery Discharge

Hello everyone.

I'd like to share an issue I'm having with my SEAT Leon to see if anyone has experienced something similar or has any advice.

My car is a 2023 SEAT Leon 1.5 TSI 150 HP DSG, purchased in November 2023. During the first two years it was absolutely faultless. It passed every scheduled service at the official dealership without any issues and had never given me any problems.

Recently, however, something very strange started happening. Completely at random, the battery is discharged after the car has been parked. Sometimes it starts normally, while other times the battery is almost completely flat, even though no lights or accessories were left on.

I took the car to the official dealership for inspection. They tested the battery and told me it was in good condition, and none of their diagnostic tests found any faults. They also checked the charging system, which apparently was working correctly.

Despite that, the problem continues. On several occasions the battery has gone flat unexpectedly, which makes me suspect there may be a parasitic battery drain or that one of the electronic control modules is not going into sleep mode after the car is switched off. Since the issue happens randomly, it seems difficult to reproduce during a standard workshop inspection.

I'm particularly concerned because the car is still relatively new and has always been serviced according to the manufacturer's maintenance schedule.

Has anyone experienced a similar issue with this generation of the SEAT Leon or with another VAG Group vehicle? If so, what turned out to be the cause? Any advice or experiences would be greatly appreciated, as I'd like to have some ideas before taking the car back to the dealership.

Thanks in advance!

Seat Phone Holder Market Research

Edit: I suck at Reddit, attached photos :)

Hi all!

Hope you are all doing well!

I am in the process of creating the below for my Seat Leon e-Hybrid. I am opting for something like this rather than a standard phone holder attached (awkwardly) to the vents or other areas.

With apple carplay etc it’s more about convenience, accessible but also have a clutter free area.

I have seen very minimal amount of these for sale through different avenues (mostly from countries with high postage to the UK) so they are not popular and come at a bit of a cost as they are made specifically for your car model. Due to this and having the ability to create this without buying equipment, I thought I’d make it!

# To get to my point:

Would anyone also consider something like this? For their exact car model, fit to a T! As I am considering selling these at a more affordable price then what I’ve seen already to make it more accessible to the UK!

This product will be designed by myself using 3d software and can differ from the original photo I created.

I have left a form below, if anyone can please tick the relevant boxes if you’re interested and there’s a space for notes and car model etc. All the info I’d need! (Including optional information to receive discount once item is live!)

These will not be promoted via this Reddit page and forum, this is just to understand what the people want for their cars!

Thanks in advance all :)

2017 SEAT Leon – I accidentally pushed the boot latch into the locked position while the boot was open

Hi everyone,
I have a 2017 SEAT Leon 5F. The boot was not closing properly, and while the tailgate was open, I pushed the rotating latch mechanism inwards with my hand to see if it would move.
Unfortunately, the latch clicked into the closed/locked position while the tailgate was still open. Now, when I try to close the boot, the latch hits the metal striker loop on the car because the opening is blocked.
The electric release still makes a normal clicking sound when I press the SEAT badge/boot handle.

Please help

Changed a 2023 Ibiza for this one

Leon Cupra 2018, 80k km. Stage 2. Almost 400hp. I like it, very fast, more space, and still looks very modern on the inside.

SEAT Connect not working and it's effecting terribly on my Leon! Need help, please!

I've written about it 2 months ago.

I've bought my Seat Leon ST 2020/12, MK4, DSG, 2.0 TDI in february this year. In march hell started, it just empties my battery from running the cabin ventilation when I turn the car off.

I've been to mechanics and official SEAT repair shops and they changed the following:

- Altenator

- Battery

- Airbag ECU (was faulty)

- Clima ECU

- the control ventilation unit

- CANBus cable (was oxidized)

- Updated software

It still fucked with the ventilation.

Then I realized it has SEAT connect and tried to connect to it. It doesn't work no matter what I try.

Then they did a firmware update which failed first time but after that it got through and now everything works except SEAT connect.

It just says after connecting that it can't load the settings.

I'm lost for anything else. What could this be? The car was originally in another country (neighbour country in Europe).

Except that everything works perfect.

Any ideas?

Just bought a Seat Leon ST

I just bought a used Leon from July 2027 but I can't figure which engine I got and what it is the difference between the 2.

This pic is from the French Seat website, there is no information when I click "technical data"
