Ibiza 1.2 TSI stage 1
Considering getting my Ibiza stage 1 mapped (so takes it from 105 to about 130bhp and 175 to 230Nm torque).
It's just ticked over 100k miles and is due for a service, so will get the timing chain checked, other than that it's running flawlessly.
Anything else I should consider getting checked over before getting it remapped?

1.2, 1.4 tsi engines
Hi, looking at getting a Leon estate.
Most of the ones in my price range have around 120-140k miles. Just wondering if this is a lot for one of these?
For example, I wouldnt hesitate to get a 1.9tdi on this milage as they last forever. But is that the same for the 1.2 and 1.4 tsi?
I understand the cam belt does need changing around 100k.

Does my Leon Cupra 300 have ACC or only Front Assist? Radar present in lower grille.
Hey guys,
I recently checked the VIN report for my 2017 Seat Leon Cupra 300 DSG (5F1) and it says the car only has standard cruise control (8T2 CCS) and not ACC.
However, I noticed there is clearly a radar module mounted in the lower front grille. The car also has Front Assist and emergency braking.
What confuses me is:
- VIN decoder says no ACC
- physical radar is present
- car has lane assist + front assist
Is it possible the VIN decoder is wrong?
Did some Cupra 300 models come with Front Assist radar but without adaptive cruise control?
Anyone with a similar setup?

Rattling noise

Washer Fluid Leaking
Hi everyone, I have a leaking issue under the dash when the rear washer is used, might be due to frozen washer liquid. Anyone had this before? I hope it's not necessary to take the whole dash off to fix this.

Viewing first car tomorrow 2006 Leon 1.9 TDi BKC, 88k, scary MOT history. Should I walk away?
First car, viewing tomorrow at 9am, driving 1.5hrs to get there. Quick sanity check please.
2006 SEAT Leon 1.9 TDi BKC, 88k miles, 2 owners, FSH claimed (cambelt unknown). Genuine mileage, no finance, no write-off. No DPF.
Plan to use it for a roughly monthly 450-mile motorway trip.
MOT history is what's worrying me:
- CV boots flagged 2018, 19, 20, 21, 22, 25. Maybe never properly fixed
- 2020 failure: fractured coil spring
- 2021 failure: brake disc "gone red", brake imbalance
- 2025 failure: engine MIL fault (passed retest, no idea what it was)
- Averaged 360 miles/month its whole life — short-trip diesel
Engine itself should be solid (BKC is the good one, no DPF). Worried the rest of the car is tired.
Is this normal wear for a 20yo car or am I walking into a money pit? Worth viewing or skip?

Hallo Leute, das Video erklärt einiges. Kein Rauch aus dem Auspuff, nichts. Und falls jetzt jemand kommt mit „Man darf den Öldeckel oder den Messstab nicht bei laufendem Motor öffnen“: Eine frühere Diagnose ist hilfreich. Ich hatte vermutet, dass die Kolbenringe verschlissen sind. Allerdings würde ich gerne auch die Meinung der anderen hören.
