Hi everyone,

I’m looking for other owners who may have experienced the same issue with a recent SEAT Leon.

My car:

- SEAT Leon 5-door

- Build date: May 2026

- First registered: June 2026

- 1.5 eTSI 115/116 PS DSG

**Infotainment system information:**

- Device part number: **5FA035816C**

- Hardware: **H11**

- Software: **2768**

- ABT Hardware: **H52**

- ABT Software: **1046**

- Navigation database: **26.8**

- Radio database: **1.31.56**

- Media codec: **3.1.4**

Since late July I’ve been experiencing a strange infotainment/audio issue.

The main problem is that the radio/audio suddenly mutes itself while driving.

It usually happens approximately 1–15 minutes after starting the car, and it seems to occur more often during the first drive of the day.

It mutes itself several times (1 - 5 times) even at a short distance of approx. 20 km.

When it happens, the normal Mute symbol appears.

I can immediately unmute the system and the music continues normally.

So it does not appear to be a loss of radio reception or an audio source disconnect.

Other symptoms I have experienced:

- Infotainment/head unit completely shutting down while driving (to the start screen, no reboots on its own); shut down happens approx 1 to 3 times while driving approx 20 km

- One temporary traffic-sign-recognition failure

- One “key not detected” message after stopping the car

The mute problem has also occurred in Guest Mode, so it does not seem to be related to my user profile.

The dealer has already:

- performed resets

- installed/reinstalled software

- carried out several test drives

- consulted SEAT technical support

Unfortunately, the issue is still present with software version 2768.

SEAT/dealer is now planning to replace the infotainment/head unit, but apparently the replacement unit is currently not immediately available.

Has anyone with a 2025 or 2026 Leon, especially with:

5FA035816C / H11 / Software 2768 / ABT H52 / ABT 1046

experienced the same random Mute and Infotainment behaviour?

I’d especially be interested to know:

- Did replacing the infotainment unit solve it?

- Was the cause eventually identified as hardware or software?

- Do you have the same hardware/software combination?

- Is there a newer infotainment software version than 2768?

- Are there currently longer delivery times for replacement infotainment units?
