I sold two tickets to two different people. I had to manually transfer to them after the sale. Neither buyer accepted them.

I contacted seatgeek, they said as long as I upload proof that I sent, it doesn't matter if the buyers dont accept the tickets.

I asked them to contact the buyers to let them know, I'd personally hate buying and waiting for tickets if they've been sent, probably unknowingly in the junk folder. They refuse to contact the buyer

Has anyone successfully entered a twin peaks show at Thalia hall using tickets from SeatGeek? The tickets are in my Apple wallet. Just wanted to ask if possible I know they use a different ticketing sale than Ticketmaster, a little worried.

Will seatgeek allow transfer of BTS Baltimore VIP tickets 72 hours before the show, like Ticketmaster?

I received an email from seat geek saying action is required to accept my BTS tickets for LV day 2 are ready and that the seller already transferred it, but I never received the actual transfer email. I’ve checked all folders/spam and my Ticketmaster account, but nothing is there.

I "chatted" with support bot and didn’t get a clear answer. It’s been over 10 hours since the “action required” email.

The bot said this is “normal,” but I’ve never experienced this before. Can anyone confirm if this is actually normal or are facing this. Or if there may be an issue with the transfer? The event is coming up in 4 days, so I’m starting to worry. And of course there is no really assessable phone number. Any advice? TYSM

Wondering if anyone has any advice on if there is anything that can be done. This Saturday I had tickets for the PGA Championship. They were bought by a friend, who forwarded the tickets to my gmail. I was planning to go but last minute had something come up and decided I needed to sell. I accepted the tickets in my gmail which forwarded to the QR code for the tickets and right on that main page said Buy/Sell/Transfer. I put in the amount for sale and I got a confirmation they were listed for sale.

Shortly after I downloaded the app to better track if they sold. When I went into my profile I no longer had the tickets and no sale history. I went back to see Gmail to check and accepted and transferred the tickets as I was doing earlier. But when I got to the we code screen for the tickets it no longer offered that it was just an informational page for the PGA. So I effectively no longer had the tickets and was still considering going later in the day. I spent close to $600 on the seats and lost access to the tickets with no explanation.

Does anyone know if this can be resolved in any way?

Bought “seats together” on SeatGeek for the Greek Theatre and ended up with Seat 29 and Seat 31. Apparently Seat 30 magically disappeared.

Contacted support and they basically told me refunds are only for canceled events and suggested I “resell the tickets” if I want actual seats next to each other. So now I’m supposed to eat the fees, take resale risk, and spend more money because their listing was misleading?

They keep hiding behind technicalities like “same row,” but literally any normal person buying tickets that are advertised together assumes the seats are directly adjacent. The whole point is to sit WITH the person you’re going with.

If the listing clearly said “separated by one seat,” fine. But it didn’t. Feels insanely deceptive, especially after all the extra fees these apps charge on top of already inflated ticket prices.

Has anyone else dealt with this nonsense?

I was looking for tickets for my dad and saw an amazing deal for two tickets that were $24 each. Since most promo codes only work if you spend $50+, I changed my filter to only show me tickets $25+ to see if I could get a slightly better deal on more expensive tickets with a 10% off promo code, and those same $24 tickets suddenly became $26. And it's not like the price just got refreshed, because they would go back to $24 if I cleared the filter. Sadly I actually bought those tickets at $26 because with the promo code they were cheaper than they would have been at $24 but it still seems very sketchy.

Received an email saying action is required to accept my ticket and the seller has already sent the ticket but have not actually received the follow up ticket transfer email. I’ve checked all my folders per the instructions and checked my Ticketmaster account. Chatted with the bot and didn’t really get an answer. It’s now been over an hour since I’ve received the action required email; should I be worried? I usually receive the follow up email within minutes but nothing this time. The bot said this is “normal” which is weird since I’ve never experienced it and why would the email say it’s ready when it not. Please provide some insight, I’m getting worried.

So im interested in buying VIP Soundcheck for BTS in Baltimore D-1 (resale from 3rd party). I’m aware that vip benefits are “non transferable” but ive heard of people asking the venue or vip/live nation and they’ve granted them their benefits. Have any of you done it before & is it worth risking?

Also does anyone know if Seatgeek plans on reopening ticketing before the concerts like Ticketmaster did?

just what the title says. i’ll be filing through my bank directly for a refund, but be aware.

I purchased two tickets for a small concert a couple weeks ago and lo and behold when we show up, the tickets scan as “void”. Tried the app, paper tickets, email and website, but no dice. Security at the venue told us that it’s a common scam, people sell their tickets on a third party site and then cancel and get their money back, or they show up to the venue first, scan their original printed ticket and get in before the purchaser.

Filed a complaint for a refund with seatgeek and so far they’ve gone completely AWOL. It’s been ten days and their “investigators” won’t reply to my emails and never responded after saying they’d “contact the original seller”.

I already plan to get my money back come hell or high water, but let my experience be a warning about this site.

Hi so has anyone purchased a resale ticket from SH or another third party site that the original box office tickets were sold from Seatgeek? I purchased a resale ticket weeks ago on SH for 3rd row seats to bts for the Baltimore show and I’m seeing conflicting things online stating these are non transferable??? Even though there’s tons of close seats being sold for thousands of dollars on these resale sites. And SH ensured me that I will receive the tickets by the show or I get my money back guaranteed, but like people have had success with this in the past right?? I’m so confused and stressed bc Seatgeek won’t help and neither will SH.

I’m seriously frustrated! I bought two BTS tickets for standford this Saturday that I need to sell because I can no longer attend. The issue is that the link SeatGeek sent me to “claim my ticket” is just a link to the seats so I can’t actually “claim” them I just have a link with the barcode. I chatted with support and they said the only way to sell them is by third party and to send the buyer that link. WHO would want to buy two tickets with me saying “I’ll send you a link”. Like doesn’t that sound sketchy to most people?? I spent $500 on these tickets and I don’t want it to go to waste but I really can’t attend 😭😭 this is my fist time buying with seat geek and I’m just frustrated, anyone else gone thru this? Any advice?

Pretty complicated but finally did purchase a resale WC ticket from a reseller a while ago and the tix were transferred, or at least partly, today. Wondering if anyone can help with something. I did transfer the ticket to myself from the buyer on Seat Geek and the FIFA site as required and see the actual ticket transfer was made today from the seller and did the transfer however after doing that while I see the ticket numbers I can't see the tickets themselves and the bar codes which will be required to enter the stadium. I have tried on my computer and iPhone. The match is not for another month and wondering if the actual tickets themselves may be transferred later closer to the match but I found no information in that regard. I did try Seat Geek customer service and the bot wan't very helpful. Thanks!

So I bought two tickets for BTS in Vegas May 27th. I got two links to claim the tickets officially through the seatgeek email and in my app. When I click on the claim tickets, I get sent to a verified.show link to the tickets and it looks like ticketmaster. Says I should see the barcodes closer to the concert date.

Has anyone gotten tickets like these that worked when you went for previous BTS dates? I’m worried they won’t work when I get there or the barcodes won’t show up.
