My EDM vocal chain in under 60 secs (it’s surprisingly simple 👀)

Guys, pretty much every producer I work with these days prefers my wet stems over my dry ones due to the processing they hear on it, and it’s actually a very simple chain I use 😆 the trick is, to make sure you record in a well treated environment. Start with the best possible source, and you’re almost halfway there 🙌 if you can keep it as simple as you can - then do so!

As a beginner to produce bass music, which one should I prioritize, serum sound design or mastering? (compression is the hardest to do with)

Sound design

Anybody looking to make some sound design together?
#Bass Music / Trap
Experienced producer of five years, trying to work on some sound design, I’d say I’m at a low tier intermediate level, and I’m looking to try to level up sound design, anybody interested in helping?

Serum on Android

As a side project I ported Serum 1 (and Serum 2) along with other VSTs to an Android app. This uses the macOS VST plugin with some compatibility layer code (similar to wine but for mac). It is NOT emulation and runs with the same performance of the native VST (I use the ARM64 VST, Android uses ARM processors). No plans at the moment to get this on the Play store since redistributing Serum is a no go. Licensing works just like on desktop. Here's me struggling through making a dub stab on my Pixel.

Sharing is caring (and I got some free vital stuff for download)

Hi! Call me Vita ❤️

I’m a sound designer focused in create some presets to share with everyone that wants some new and cool stuff. Everything I make is pay-what-you-want starting from $0, so basically if you want to get them for free, you can.

Now I’m focusing in backroom-style keys, synthwave keys and some cool pads. Some of that presets use personalized wavetables and I’ll continue to create more from every kind of category inside vital.

I left video demos in description of every pack so that you can hear what you’re downloading before you get it. So, if you want to get some of my stuff for free, look at the comments.

If you want to suggest presets and different sounds you think i could create, please let me know.

Radio Production FX?

Can anyone recommend affordable buy-out sound effects? Not general ones, but the zips and zaps used to produce imaging? My budget is pretty small. $50-$100 max. I’m hoping to get something decent. I don’t want to go the AI route or free sound sights. There used to be so many options, Radio Mall? I’ve been out of the game for a long time. Help?

why does serum 2's UI go all glitchy like this?

i think this only started happening recently. i dont think it happens with other VSTs and definitely doesn't happen outside of my DAW. the audio doesn't seem to be affected when this happens. it usually does this for a few moments at a time, with the UI shifting around and moving.

Keypad preset recall

Hi do I was watching Ariathome's rig run down and apparently he calls up his patches via a 10key system, with random action even!

An ty one have any idea how he did this? It's the 2nd oldest vid on his YT if you want to check it out but it blew my mind how he was able to search all of them so intuitively like that and I want to be able to reach for stuff similarly

Question: How to play different parts of sliced sample

So I have loaded in a clip of the word "nobody" and want to slice it into 3 parts like no - bo - dy.

I load the wav into OSC A and right click to select slice manual and adjust my 3 slices accordingly, I also activate Play Single Slice

My plan is now to press A for "No" and then S for "Bo" and then D for "Dy" on my computer keyboard to play these different slices of the sample.

However whichever button/key I press I only play the start of the sample as if there are no slices.

Am I able to assign slices to certain keys somewhere or something like that?

Feels like I'm missing something I can't find in the slicing part of the manual

Any tips or help is greatly appreciated, thanks in advance!
