So I did a Sett game recently that we had to forfeit because the ADC disconnected. I finished 8/3 against Garen and I realized something: PTA IS the way to cook him because otherwise he has enough damage and sustain

This begs the question then : who else is a good matchup with PTA ? Because the rest with Conqueror is fine but the damage is useful against Garen but who else? Renekton maybe ? Ranged matchups ? I need to understand because I feel like it's the only thing I need to get even better

I feel like the only time I can fight in lane is when the enemy allows me to and then I get the reward of just being a worse Darius in the same situation. So much less lane pressure and way easier to kite out. Also any champ with a decent stun or slow can short trade you to shit and never let you figth back. The only thing Sett is good at is teamfighting but if he gets stunned on the engage he just gets walked away from again. I like Sett's kit but I feel I'm handicapping myself picking him.

Since the new patch came out I’ve been going for Stridebreaker -> Cleaver -> Sterak in basically all situations, thoughts on that? I not really sure if that makes sense bc of the buffs. (Also I never went for hullbreaker since the item rework, anyone know when to go for it?)

Hey, hope ya’ll are doing good. So I regularly play Sett and Darius, and we know that Darius now has another rune and item to help him against mobile/ranged comps (Ghostblade build), so I was thinking, why is this not a thing for sett? I know he needs hp to do huge amounts of damage with W but at some point he also used to build (situationally) BORK, I just feel like there hasn’t been a lot of innovation with the builds/runes with this champ.

There are many different sett versions

you got the normal Conqueror bruiser sett, Grasp Tank Sett, PTA short trade sett and then you got my personal favorite way to play sett is with fleet footwork and MS, ofc i dont run this every game but in my recent game i was playing against a zilean top and yes im the one who calmed him down, i was playing against 5 squishy champs that have MS, so i went Fleet and my build was this, Stride, hullbreaker, bloodmail and ghostblade, i didn't manage to buy my last item bcs we ended the game, but this is genuinely my favorite kind of sett to play, a sett that runs at you at like 450 MS, its really fun but obviously you cannot go fleet against matchups that demand offensive runpages, what kind of sett you enjoy playing the most?

I did a test in practice tool after the cleaver buffs. As a second item on lvl 13 with conqueror on 6+ auto attacks alone Sett deals more dmg for targets with up to 150 armor if he buys Hull. I did my test with 12 ottos but the damage stays the same. This also continues to third item if you buy blood mail but past that cleaver is better for 100+ armor targets.

So what is the verdict? Is Hull better against no tanks? Hull also gives 5 more ad which good for better grit to true dmg conversion.

I was 99lp platinum 1. So i queued another game to get to emerald and finish my climb.
I then proceed to lose 15 out of 17 next games.
3/4 of those games i have won lane, made great plays and overall did good but my teamates legit ran it down, trolled, died and fed sooo many times.

In my opgg, im not kidding, there is at least the mention « unlucky ». Im legit losing my mind. Idk wtf is going on but everyone in my team is so fkg bad. (If you want to check my opgg - Myabss #7777)

Win lane, lose game i guess. I just give up. Im taking a loooong break from league its really making me lose my mind
