75k (2k DPM) damage with first strike AD shaco

Hey guys, i've spent the last couple weeks theorycrafting some AD first strike shaco builds, i've always been interest in them for years but since the HoB nerfs were announced i decided to give it a second look. I've settled now on this core after tinkering with a tiamat item:

umbral > voltaic > LDR

The 2 setups:

First strike, cash back/footwear, biscuit delivery(can triple tonic but greedy in higher elo's), cosmic insight, sudden impact, relentless with the attack speed shard. < this is my setup where i usually go defensive boots, ionians or swifties and run eclipse 4th item (as tested in the game i'm showing)

The other setup runs is also first strike but with approach velocity and alacrity + coup and haste shard, this is for games where u just need to reliably kill the squishies, the prefered boots for this setup are berserkers or swifties and the 4th item is collector which pairs really well with the concept of this archetype.

Feel free to ask any questions, the assassination patterns and target assessment are a bit different with this setup, if ur ahead u can legit 2 shot (Q backstab + 1 more auto or E)

What to do after cheesing?

Recently picked up shaco as a fun pick whilst I smurf to play with my friend. First, ive realised this champ is busted for teamfights and objectives.

Secondly, I've quickly figured out that raptors into invade works almost every game to steal blue and potentially first blood/summs. The only issue is i have no clue what to do after. I'd usually just go back to full clear but part of the shaco experience is mental torture.

Generally is it the best move to instantly back after the steal/firstblood to run straight to their red and steal again? Or am i better off clearing their topside into my own full clear+scuttles

Hail of Blades nerf

So obviously this nerf has hurt the early game on ad shaco, is it still the best rune to go for or is there other options? Found myself really noticing the nerf early on.

Question, are you guys aware that your champ is weak and you're not pinkward?

I really ask this question in a non-hostile way. I geniunely am curious because everytime i have a shaco on my team they get jungle gapped pretty bad. For once, shaco can't really solo objectives early and ganks aren't really great either. I honestly have no idea about clear speed because shaco players never seem to farm properly. I consider myself lucky if my shaco jungle has 7cs/min.

I'm really tired of my jungler picking shaco while enemy picks like nocturne and completely pegs our team. And everytime enemy team has shaco either bot lane or mid lane gets camped because those are where shaco farms kills easily. And yeah we win no matter what happens because enemy basically has no jungler.

Atp i lose all my mental when i see shaco player in my team. I legit don't mind if we have shaco support or even top lane. But jungle is like the most important role and shaco suck balls bruh.

So are you guys really enjoying this champ or y'all just coping thinking you're a genius mastermind strategists because you play shaco

Shaco is NOT a demon. What if he is actually a bored Watcher? (Lore Theory)

Riot has some pretty bad lore for certain champions, and they honestly don't know what to do with Shaco. But well, what if everything we know about him is just a cover story?

Hear me out on this crazy theory: Shaco is actually a bored Watcher from the Void.

We all know the Watchers are the ultimate cosmic horrors frozen under the ice in Freljord. They hate reality, light, and existence. But what if one of them managed to slip through a small rift a long time ago, took a physical form, and instead of destroying the world, it just got... fascinated?

Think about it:

  1. The Ultimate Enigma: Shaco has zero connections to any other champion in Runeterra. Nobody knows where he came from or who he truly is. If he were a regular demon or a cursed puppet, someone like Fiddlesticks, Swain, or the Black Rose would know about him. But he is a complete ghost because his true identity is cosmic.
  2. His Ultimate (R - Hallucinate): Watchers are known for distorting reality and manipulating matter. Creating a perfect, physical clone of himself that explodes into pure chaos is a piece of cake for a literal cosmic god.
  3. The Psychology of a Bored Cosmic Being: Imagine sleeping in the dark, silent Void for millions of years. Suddenly, you wake up in Runeterra. It's full of colors, loud noises, emotions, and stupid mortals fighting over mortal things. Instead of instantly wiping out the planet, this Watcher decided to have some fun. He took the most annoying, terrifying shape possible—a murderous jester—and started killing people just for pure amusement. All the grand wars of Aspects and Darkins are just a hilarious joke to him.

If this theory is true, Shaco is secretly one of the most powerful beings in the entire universe. He is just hiding his world-erasing power behind two daggers and some jack-in-the-boxes because he thinks trolling mortals is the best way to pass the time.

I know Riot's official answer would be "No, he's just a demon/puppet," but honestly, this theory makes him 100x more terrifying and interesting than anything Riot has ever written for him.

What do you guys think? Could the Demon of Delirium actually be a Cosmic Horror playing a prank?

I do not understand Shaco support

Hey Shaco mains. I'm a gold ADC main and I seriously do not understand the point of, and how to play around a Shaco support. Every time I get a Shaco support I hard lose lane. Now, it would be easy to say Shaco support is just useless, but some of them are Shaco support otps, which leads me to believe I'm probably doing something seriously wrong, because if they wouldn't win games they wouldn't be at my rank either. I get that he roams a lot, that's not the issue, but how do I play when he's laning with me?

So I just want to know, how do I need to position? What are good picks with Shaco? What does Shaco want to do in lane, and what does he need me to do? Does he play different in lane depending on Ad/Ap?

I play mostly Vayne and Kai'sa.

AP Shaco Build path

Been grinding AP shaco to emerald and have some questions..

I do the classic BFT - CD Boots - Liandries - Imperial mandate

What do you guys do for your last two times? Obviously if lots of MR I go MPEN or Zhonyas if needed but that leaves a slot free. I do mejas a good amount too.

Is there ever situations I build some sort of AD item at the end? I sometimes do crypto bloom or shadow flame

I have been using this build for more than a year now and I can tell you one thing that this should become the new standard ap support shaco build.

Right now my main account is sitting on 2000 LP Challenger with 59% wr on shaco while my alt account is sitting on 1300 LP GM with 74% wr on shaco.

https://preview.redd.it/2s343s5i2djh1.png?width=900&format=png&auto=webp&s=6f84fcc0858afc5278898cb97c27af1d928f65ab

One thing I need to clarify first this build is focus on support shaco only not other roles

Let me tell my fellow ap support shaco players something real quick. Something we all already know since we get ourselves into this playstyle.

AP Shaco sucks at early game. Like he's completely useless no matter how you spin it ,sure you can get prior in some really rare matchups but that's not enough.

And you know why that's the case ?

Because everyone keeps building with the same mindset that ap shaco is a weak early champion (BFT, Malignance, Mandate,...). I know these builds are great as standard first item builds as you can take over your game most of the times when you reach your Core Item Liandry.

But the problem is within the build itself how do you even get to your core item when you have zero pressure in lane and early teamfights (don't even tell me you need to prepare boxes for objectives in advance as 1 or 2 sweepers is enough to wipe your damage source completely)

Lemme clear something first I have built BFT since its official release and was once and for a long time a casual scale late win game shaco player. So don't come here and tell me I don't know how to use scale builds.I even tried tear start into Liandry to get to ap shaco's power spike earlier. And ofc Liandry start is just a dumb idea as you will have no mana to even place the boxes let alone use your entire kit.

Now for my second point on why casual builds sucks

You have to rely too much on boxes and teammates. That's literally your only reliable damage source as your E damage is just a joke because by the time you get 5 points onto it the game is over and your R is basically a gamble against your enemies intelligent.(Even if you pull your clone from fog of war it's still a gamble if the enemies mess up their position in teamfight or not as a high elo lobby will not allow that to happen easily.)

So to fix this issue I have come up with a really simple solution. Push AP Shaco's lane pressure to the max.

https://preview.redd.it/ujs5mmlx2djh1.png?width=889&format=png&auto=webp&s=3d4b006b66becfb4f5afa268a14b14df1004fd7e

To start off I need to talk about dark harvest. This rune is both an early damage rune and at the same time a scale rune. Combine with Haste, Ultimate Hunter and Liandry as second item you can actually out scale BFT build by miles.

Now, to actually win early game fights and get really high prior for your lane you will need the combination of Dark Harvest, Sudden Impact and Cut Down.

To push this lead further instead of going BFT and waste your early game strength you will need Luden's.

Lemme tell you why Luden's is so strong as a first item for ap shaco. Luden's damage is really high early on and for the whole match it will instantly bring the enemies down to the point where you can get a DH stack or just straight up kill them on the spot as the damage is surprisingly disgusting.

Now, I will introduce you to the second reason why Luden's is better than BFT. Like I said above the damage from Luden's is instant so you can always get DH stack by proccing it with your support item Zak Zak. While BFT damage is DOT which means even when you hit your E on a low hp enemy and proccing Zak Zak you will not get a DH stack most of the time because the damage is not instant. And this goes the same for boxes as well.

Finally, to give this build a final but most important push I will need to change the skill order as well.

1.I always start Q for lane pressure and believe it or not shaco win every matchups with DH let it be double range, pokes, enchanters, tanks or off-meta picks as long as you understand how to control the bushes with sweeper and use them for trades. And don't just blindly Q in. Q in as your enemies use one of theirs skill on you so you can buffer/dodge and backstab them then force the trade with your adc or just fall back if your adc cannot follow up (which most of the time is your fault for not finding angle to trade efficiently with your adc CD)

2.Most of the times I put 2 points into E on level 3 (Put 1 point into W for hook matchups)

The reason for this is that level 1 W is a waste of mana and do absolutely nothing against range champion or matchups where their support start with a sweeper.

And the damage from 2 points-E is really high and will for sure catch the enemies by surprised

3.After laning phase I will have 2 options:

E Max or W Max

With E Max you don't have to rely solely on your boxes and clone for damage.Instead you have a point and click nuke with the combination of everything you have been building up till now

DH stacks + Luden's burst damage + Liandry Burn + Zak Zak + Cut down + Sudden Impact

And don't even worry about boxes damage they still deal a lot of damage because their main damage source come from Liandry (which will be available way sooner because of your early game pressure) and that's more than enough to take over mid-late game.

Then we have W max with 3 points into E.

W max is better when your team already has too much damage and you need more boxes for objective fights but don't worry your E still hurts like hell with the same formula as above.

Lastly, I will need to talk about third and fourth item slots

1.If you are in the position of being able to snowball the game (which will actually happen quite a lot because of this build) you can rush Rabadon into Shadow Flame or if you don't have enough money for your next fight you can build Shadow Flame's components, complete the item and head for Rabadon or Imperial Mandate

2.If the game is stable Imperial Mandate is more preferable as this item is actually quite OP considering its price and the cdr it gives rn.

3.Consider building Hour glass as third item when the enemies has too much burst as you already have more than enough damage from your first 2 items and runes.

Instead of only being a Control Support with the casual cdr build you can become both a Poke, Control Support and even Become the carry with this build.

That's all I have for now I give my thanks to anyone who read it all the way through.

I will answer every questions about this topic but please be respectful and logical when commenting or else I won't reply to your comments.

And for the last time this build is for ap shaco support don't tell me if it doesn't work elsewhere because it was not designed to do so.

;)

Has anyone tried eclipse into blood letters?

I saw a video of someone running eclipse > blood letters > mandate. I don’t know how effective that build would be has anyone else tried it yet?

🤡 Getting Out of Platinum

Hi everyone,
I’m an AP Shaco OTP and I’ve been stuck in low Platinum for a while now. I honestly feel like I’ve hit a wall and I have no idea what I’m supposed to do differently to start climbing again

A few months ago, I was Iron, and somehow I managed to climb all the way up to Platinum
I’m really proud of that progress, but now I just feel completely stuck
I don’t really know how to properly review my games, and whenever I lose, I struggle to understand what I could have done better

I even paid for a coach recently, hoping they could help me figure out what I was doing wrong. Unfortunately, it didn’t really help me improve or climb, and the coach actually refunded me afterwards. Honestly, huge respect to them for being that honest !!!

So I’m kind of at a loss right now. 😅
Would there be a kind soul here who’d be willing to take a look at a few of my games and help me understand what I’m doing wrong? Even just pointing out a few recurring mistakes or things I should focus on would mean a lot to me.

I really want to improve, I just feel like I don’t know how anymore

Thanks a lot to anyone who takes the time to read this or help me ❤️

PS: here is my OPGG: https://op.gg/fr/lol/summoners/EUW/2Shac-CLONE

I'm gonna leave this here to show ap shaco support players how to actually play early laning phase.(Please start taking dark harvest and build ludens this build is hidden OP)

This trade pattern even works on tank/engage support matchups as long as you buffer their engage tool with your Q.

Upcoming shaco main, any tips?

Said to myself that I would become a Shaco main if I opened this skin, and here we are.

Any tips when it comes to clearing, ganking, when u should go AD or AP etc.

Im a previous kayn main, so im already used to alternating between build, though I do like red more since stable damage and good survivability.
