Finally started to paint my Shadows of Brimstone stuff, and I’m really pretty happy with them for the most part! That said, I can’t really decide how to base them - given that these things can be bursting out of a swamp, a mine, or a frozen hellscape (or more!) - how do folks like to base these things? I’ve seen some people who have just got a plain black base which I’m kinda leaning towards… I just can’t really decide!
First roll to hold back the darkness sent rocks falling from the ceiling and injured each party member to around half health. Second room and first exploration token revealed 3 slashers. That was a hard fight and we barely made it out. Later in the mines a scratching voice took down the drifters sanity to 0 and he went insane. We received him, later learning that is not allowed. Found our second clue wayyyy down in the mines and then the preacher died. The only survivor to make it out was our shaman who transformed into a bear to stay alive in the end.
Two questions
Can the preacher heal himself if he takes enough damage to be killed? Or in the same way if another party member takes damage, enough to be killed, can someone heal them real quick?
The drifter seems rough to play as. He can shoot a lot but elite enemies and double do to level is not a lot of fun. Although his character added a lot of doom and gloom which is what makes this game fun.
Can't seem to find my Feudal Village and Temple of Shadows Rule/Adventure Books, is there anywhere I can get a PDF of them?
