I think cash deposits should roll over into the following days until we hit, say $100. It seems such a waste to go to bank every evening for a $15 deposit. Just doesn’t make sense!

I know they’re intended for testing colors only, but it seems a shame to waste so much paint.

Does anyone have any information on what base paint is used — or perhaps more importantly, what binders/mediums/etc are missing? I would like to know what the ACTUAL limitations of this paint is.

It would be good to know what applications it could be successfully used for — furniture? Indoor murals applied to a premium SW paint base? Wooden toys? Etc?

I have asked a few SW employees, but none seem to have any information beyond the company policy of not recommending the paint for anything other than sampling.

The amount of people who come into the store and ask hey how much is this and then dont like the price and try to get me to lower the price will never cease to amaze me. Then get mad if they dont get thier way, Ive been painting for 20 years and spend a million dollars a year at sherwin williams and blah blah blah. I couldnt imagine getting a pizza and be like oh 20 bucks hell no am I paying for that, whats my price.

Is there a way that decision for conflict of interest be appealed, backstory I started working in December 2025 as a part timer and around March the store I am at lost a part timer and I asked my manager if it was conflict of interest if my brother applied for the position he said it shouldnt be but he asked HR and our DM, a day later he told that they said it wasnt because we would work differents shifts and we each had our own transprtation, fastforward to this week my manager said he received an email from LP saying it was a conflict of interest so now one of us has to resign or transfer, is there anyway that this can be appealed because their is literally no conflict in our work life as I am not a ASM, Manager or third key.

For the people doing the fitness reimbursement how are you showing proof that you’re actually going to the gym so you can get the reimbursement and how are you submitting in the portal?

So I’ve been an a ASM for 2 months now and to be honest this shit is just not it. Say what you want about new ASM’s being lazy but this is not what I had imagined going in. I have to commute over an hour to my store and that’s not even counting when we have to drop off cash because for some reason our bank is 10 miles away opposite direction of my way home. As well I love my team and everyone on it but when I average 30+ transactions and my part timer does 4 transactions on a Saturday when’s it’s just us two I can’t help but feel like I’m being used.

Anyway any tips about submitting my 2 weeks as soon as I have another job lined up I’m out of here. Also should I tell them I’m working for a competitor just so I don’t get screwed over and asked to do hell hours my last 2 weeks (our store is constantly short staffed) or do they actually check if you’re going to a competitor?

In a new district and transferred with the intentions of trying to find something else sooner rather than later but training is so bad I don’t even want to finish it. Tired of this company, having no work life balance, and getting paid poorly to do physical labor with little to no AC

Anyone else forced to accept a role DM wanted you to have by means of manipulation…. I had said “no thanks I’ll wait” next thing I know I have disciplinary shit that railroaded me and I ended up taking said role because I needed out of my current one.

It feels weird leaving for the second time lol idk why I came back feels like a toxic relationship, I will say I’ll miss my coworkers a lot 😭

but my store and city manager don’t want me to attend the 1 week training in Orange, CA. I’m in the roster and scheduled to fly there plus hotel and all. Why don’t they want me there???
