Why isn't my switch 2 charging

I bought a switch 2 from a shady salesman for $600 and it isn't charging. I've plugged in the AC adapter but haven't put the hdmi in since it should be charging regardless

Halp! My 1st Gen Zune I bought FROM Bill Gates isn't working. Should I replace the firmware? 🤔

Fun Fact: Some CD Rom Drives and even some DVD Rom Drives had a headphone jack and you could play music CDs on them without needing any extra hardware on the PC, just plug in your headphones and go!

Some people even used these drives without a PC just giving it power via the molex connector!

Maybe a stupid question

This sub is about asking electronics so maybe yall can help. My toaster of 8 years has stopped talking to me and answering my questions, even those about bread. I have asked this toaster so many things and it never failed to give a good response, but now, silence. Yall have experience asking electronics, so have any of you had something similar happen?
