Does anyone have experience using this bad boy? I brought an INGCO soldering iron but was finding it very hard to find quality soldering tips (still open to recommendations) so I went ahead and brought a T12 Tip system soldering station. If anyone has had experience using this, let's talk!
Had a gig tonight, my quad kept losing power about 8-10 times through the 4 hour set. Not really sure what to do about it but man really considering getting something else. I’ve had it shut down before at outside gigs in really hot temps, but today I had a fan right next to it and it was not over heating at all, just kept shitting the bed. What a disappointment.. up until the past few weeks, I’ve been giggin with it for it over 2 years no issues. Out of nowhere it’s just not reliable at all.
I'm worried ot could be something else, like store-brand gelatin, the inside of a stress ball, or a DJI 04 gyro failure.

I'm building a 7" for a trick idea I had where I fly so close over myself that the props cut the goggle antennas off and the quad crashes behind me. I will tape a few small LiPos to the frame for extra smoke and flames.
5ohm resistor, so little less than 1 amp of discharge. No stop so keep an eye on it.

I need to solder up my walksnail avatar pro, I’m trying to use this diagram but it looks like it wants me to use a dedicated vtx pad that I’m unfamiliar with. Any insight on how I should wire this up would be much appreciated.
Drone looses power at punchout after bad crash
So for more context, today I tool out my drone and while around 10m in the air I lost reciever signal and it fell down landing upright, now the drone as you can see in the video looses all power after a few of these punchouts my video slightly worse but the board still beeps alright anyone know what it could be bgw I resolver the motor wires thinking that it had to much resistance and it pulls between 8 and 9 amps before loosing power. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
I still need to mount the vtx and the antenna. The vtx antenna’s don’t mount into the holes in the back either. Walksnail pro duel. The fc and esc don’t give me enough room to mount the nuts on all 4 standoffs either… thoughts?
I let my buddy fly my drone for the first time in about a week, and he decided to fly it near the pool. I panicked and immediately put it in rice for a good 3 minutes before researching and finding out that rice is actually terrible for drones. I found that an isopropyl alcohol bath would’ve been way more effective since it helps displace the water so I did that instead. I’ve since disassembled it and cleaned it properly. Now I’m letting it sit in front of a fan for 48+ hours before reassembly. Video here

Yes, I know this flight controller gets very hot, but things have started to become completely absurd. In just one minute of flight (0:55, to be exact), my quad heated up to 100°C at an average current draw of 8–9A. I was not making any sharp maneuvers; I was just gently circling around the room and hovering in place. I could see the core temperature rising by 2–3 degrees every second, and that really scares me.
The VTX power is set to 25 mW, the ESCs are flashed to 48 kHz, the PID loop frequency is 4 kHz, and the gyro frequency is 8 kHz. I’m ready to answer any questions and provide any information if it helps solve this problem. Thank you very much, everyone.
