As a biriyani lover, I try chicken biriyani everywhere I go, even in different cities or states. So as a local, I've made this compilation of how chicken biryani from different hotels of Shimoga tastes like. Took me around 2 years to try all these hotels. There could be a lot of hotels missing from this list, so please comment if you know any.

The below list is just my opinion, based on taste, rice quality and the kind of style they prepare it in. I personally prefer hydrabadi style biriyani.

I have an exam to give on Aug 30(Sunday) in iON digital zone,Machenahalli.Im not a shivamogga local,I'll be coming and staying in shivmogga a day before.So I wanted to know what are my options are for getting there.

Is ola/uber available? (?reliably on early morning ~7ish?)

Or is there any reliable local cab service I can book in advance?or any other options?

Would really appreciate advice from locals or anyone who has travelled in the mentioned area.

Edit:Also please tell me a good,budget friendly,not so crowded non veg hotel for lunch.

I recently shifted from Bangalore back to shimogga, is there any genuine and experience mechanic shop for bikes , I have R15 V3 when I visited showroom service it's very expensive and it's nots worth it and too much waiting period, and even I tried small shops in garden area they mostly try to scam you and you don't feel safe to leave your bike there because they handle it roughly, is there any shops for bikes like semi sports bike like R15 and others which is good and affordable, if any please suggest I need to make major repairs on my bike it will help a alot .
