Matchups i've dealt with shyv

Do you have some tips ?

On release, full AP Shyvana felt good, but since 26.09, AP Shyvana feels bad and the winrate of her AP builds seems to be way lower than her AD build (not considering Kraken DnD as AP build).
Her jungle clear feels weak, her damage are a bit underwhelming, something is definitely off, and it looks like there's no change planned for her in 26.11.

I thought Riot wanted both AD and AP Shyvana to be viable, but it looks like her main builds are either Kraken / DnD or Triforce / Shojin, but no full AP build in sight.

Did any Rioter speak about AP Shyvana ?
I'd like to hear what they think about it.

Its well known that consensus is Shyv's new passive is bad, but I just want to share how wonderful it is for me.

I play a lot of fighters and tanks. Warwick and Skarner are my go to last season... And when im playing these champions there is this horrible/hard decision I dread by mid game: Do I buy more damage/health or resistances.

Buying damage is risky but feels better and snowballs the game harder. Buying Resistances is also risky because it stops my snowball, and on losing games, is often a bad decision.

On Shyv, however, the answer is always buy more damage and health. The passive solves the issue by itself. The numbers/stats are not even insignificant. Sometimes as Shyv I get more Armor/Mdef by 20-25 mins as compared to when I play Skarner (When Im stacking Health).

I agree its boring and weak compared to Akshan's or Yasuo but at least its always useful, very consistent, and for me very soothing.

Pro presence.
Druttut plays her a lot and saying that he enjoys playing her.
and a lot of those times get a youtube video or secondary game
And a high chance you find him playing her if you open his stream

around 10% playrate too
What else am I missing

like not foreseeing this with a kit like that and a cool looking champ
and butcher the passive by and making it this jungle-gating is weird

I'm looking to choose a secondary jungler instead of throwing Shyvana at every game, and am curious about what makes y'all decide to pick something else. Are there certain champs/comps on the enemy team-- or gaps in your team's draft-- that make you swap champs. Or are y'all ride-or-die dragon enthusiasts?

I recently saw a Lourlo Build using Ap Shyvana. In the video he gets asked if Shyv with shield bash could be good. He didnt know so i just tried it. Imo its pretty nice to play. Shyv has with the shield a good trade potential especially with W first and E second and you can just trade lvl 2 and even better with Q lvl 3, cause much pf the damage coming towards you is blocked by W shield. You basicly take shield bash and approach velocity and slow the enemy with E, use W, proc shield bash and possibly Grasp with an aa and then run away again. Just wanted to get some opinions from actual Shyvana Mains

Hey all, I’ve been crafting up my own build for shyvana using DFT as the primary rune

My build consists of buying a dark seal and building Cosmic drive > Liandrys > Bloodletters> Riftmaker and finish off with a flex item usually Jaksho, and taking whatever boots suit the situation

My main concern is around Bloodletters however as I don’t really play AP and when I do I don’t build Bloodletters

Does liandrys or DFT stack the bloodletters resist shred like smolder with DFT and black cleaver would?

My hope is that one Q or E would be enough to stack most of the item, but having all of these effects just to stack the item is overkill, if I could get rid of DFT or liandry I would, just wanting to know which stacks it the fastest if at all?

After trying many different builds, I found one stupid build that only builds "I'm actually not dead" items after Triforce and I'm having so much fun with this one.

I go Tri -> Resist Boots -> DD -> GA -> Steraks ( -> Eternal Hunger if you get to it)

This is incredibly frustrating for opponents: DD makes burst seem like it doesn't work (even though it does), then at 3 items they see your GA icon and don't want to kill you anymore, and at 4 items even when they try your DD burn instead gets consumed by the Lifeline shield.

Coachless WPA seems to suggest this is a good build too so I'm not pulling it out of my ass.

Sidenote - one other relatively unknown interaction is that Red Smite triggers Cheap Shot, so you can take Ult Hunter without "wasting" a secondary rune instead of having to go the garbage Hexplate item. Really enjoying PTA + Ult Hunter.

Seriously how do you guys deal with Teemo? Since riot buffed him it seems like I need to use my ban on him every game otherwise he gets picked, shits on my top laner and then even if I get fed he just blinds me 24/7 in a team fight and I’m useless since I can’t auto or Q.

Hey guys, really enjoying the ranked climb maining Shyv so far. I’m pretty new to jungle however, and aside from amumu and yi I don’t have anyone I’m decent with. Yi is a bit too melee focused for me, and amumu is tanky which I like but I can never deal much damage. What other champs are in your pool? Considering hecarim, j4, xin potentially

I redowloaded LoL after a few months off the game, so I made the decision to pick a new role and champion to play(I'm sorry Orn, but people kept not making items for us to forge), after trying some Champions I ended up liking Shyvana's gameplay. So I'm trying to find some resources to learn how to play her better be youtube videos or online documents.
(Insert obligatory "Mommy Joke" here)

I used to go AD on old Shyv and loved it on pre-change post re-work new shyv. Whats better now and what's wrong with each build? What should I build first for both? Ty for any assistance.
