Seems like my license will take more time to come so I decided I will put up 1000€ to build a drift rig at home since I really wanna practice that. But I have no idea what is good or what is a scam etc. I do want to upgrade away from g29 etc. Any recomendations?

I'm asking because I'm new and I am curious as to what I should get used to.
Me personally, I despise it. It takes away so many fun elements of multi lobbies.
Star rating locked map list? A new player won’t be able to go through the Centipede or Big Black experience
Want to give host to someone because they have a cool map they want to show? Can’t do that, they have to wait their turn
Someone’s wifi crashed, and now they can’t put in their map? Too bad
Someone is taking a quick break, and everyone is willing to wait 5 minutes for them to come back? Nope. the bot timer is almost finished counting down.
Communicating with people from across the globe with different cultures and languages to coordinate how to run the lobby? No need. The bot does it for you (this is a big one for me. A big part of what makes multi fun is the human-to-human interaction. Having a bot replace most of the things that require human interaction makes multi lose its charm)
I think I mainly don’t like automatic host rotate because multiplayer is meant to be a way to enjoy the game in a social way. Having a bot work for you to run the lobby takes that charm away.
