Six flags Legacy members registered under Great Escape or any other park bought out by Enchanted parks will discontinued

Just got off the phone with six flags and I was told all legacy memberships for parks bought out will be discontinued after 2026. We will not have the option to move our membership to a new park.

I thought since Six flags America residents were given the option to move to a new six flags park we would be given the option too. The employee said I would have to register under a completely new membership with no promotion or discount code available.

I reiterated and went back and forth about how differently Great America legacy pass holders were treated and he told me six flags was not honoring any legacy membership transfers. Our passes will end December 2026 and he said even enchanted parks will not see us as legacy members.

Is this true? Can anyone who works for six flags state why Six flags America residents were treated so differently?

As a legacy member for 5 plus years I am a little upset that I am not being offered a legacy transfer. Last year I did not even go to a park a single time but kept my membership just because it was legacy... sigh. Six flags is awesome but yeah this is going to leave a bitter taste in my mouth anytime I hear legacy I'll probably just want to leave the park even if I did sign up for the prestige pass.

If anyone somehow changed their home park please let me know.

Pass being weird

I bought a gold pass with the all parks passport and last time I visited I noticed on the app it was upgraded to prestige. This was around 2 weeks ago. Now my pass got downgraded back to gold. Is this normal?

Why do people say six flags parks look mid ?

I went to six flags New England today and the theming looked excellent. The park was clean. The park at night was especially nice with all the lighting effects. Unfortunately this park closes before it gets dark most days now :\ . The only issue seems to be everyone is seasonal which might be different at a place like Disney that operates all year.

Over Georgia. First visit maybe last.

Went to over Georgia I'll keep this short the operations here are poor at best the employees for the most part are on phones vaping jumping over the tracks etc. Have prestige got told I don't have preferred parking then was told my drink plan was only good once a day. The park itself was nice. Some decent coasters but that's where it ends

Do you all think it’s worth getting a ticket for Great Adventure next week with the forecast?

Hi all! Sorry if this isn’t the most riveting content. I ended my job on Tuesday and really wanted to make an impromptu trip to NJ from Boston to go to Great Adventure for the first time after wanting to go for 17 years. Wednesday and Thursday were way too hot for me to want to go, but there’s a sketchy forecast for next week. There’s a 19% chance of rain for Thursday, so I’m wondering if it’s worth getting a ticket and hoping for the best? Anyone more familiar with the area think this forecast will stick?

Knotts total disaster this morning 🚗 🤦

Ok. Granted I’m not from here so I don’t know the area, first visit. I know LA traffic is bad in general but this morning it was fine bc it’s the 3rd, so most ppl are off work. We were running a few minutes late today and got to the “park” at about 10:05 instead of before 10 when it opened. We then encountered the worst “parking” experience I’ve ever been subjected to in my over 45 years of life, and I seriously am not kidding. Maps took us up La Palma Ave to turn left on Beach blvd. We just had no idea what was happening and assumed this is the line to get into the parking. It takes FORTY minutes at this light. So many times we said, what is happening should we get out of this line, it was so hard to know. There were no signs and no one directing traffic. Finally we turn on Beach blvd and go under the Knotts sign. There was a sign for “metered parking” whatever that is, and preferred. We are prestige passholders so went that way. Literally at the end of the block was an employee waving everyone forward , and at that point it just dumps you on to another road, a regular road - crescent ave, no more parking, no more signs, no more workers. no more line. I mean it’s was the most insane thing I’ve ever experienced. We went to the mall 2 blocks up and parked there and walked. Then we rode 2 rides and left bc the lines were CRAZY. I’m so annoyed bc if I had known there was basically no parking we could have done our own thing and walked in at 10:10 and ridden a lot, instead of walking in at 11:30!!! It took over 90 minutes to circle the block and still have no parking. I would literally never drive to that park again. What in the world!!!??? We might go back Monday morning and uber to the mall and walk. I’m not getting anywhere close to that place again in a car. Plus we had to turn in our rental today. (At Disneyland for the weekend). In other news we had a great time at 1.5 days at Magic Mountain earlier this week!

I’m confused by the chaperone policy

Okay so I’m currently 17 and I’m finding so much conflicting stuff. If I want to go to Six Flags New England do I have to have an adult to accompany me into and throughout the park or not? Calling them didn’t help so now I’m asking yall. Thank you in advance to anyone who answers

JULY 4TH: SFNE go or no?

Thinking about going to SFNE for the fireworks but very unsure...

I read from previous posts that this is a horrible experience due to it being absurdly busy.

Are the fireworks worth it?

If i go then im def gonna get the prestige season pass + fastlane ultimate season pass (bonkers $600)...

But im wondering if the fireworks is worth it, whole reason why im going.

Cus if its worth it then im doin the whole package, but if not then ill just go on a non busy-ish day.. Like a Wednesday or sm sht...

I dont like crowded stress, or stress in general... I know for a fact it'd be hella messy, been there a few times.

I heard that leaving the park after fireworks is horrible too. Someone on a prev post said that they saw the fireworks IN the parking lot, and leaving the lot STILL TOOK 1 hour...to just leave the park.

Anyone else see my perspective?

Also id be traveling w 2 other ppl.

6 Flags Magic Mountain CA Overcrowded

Im trying not to complain but I can’t help but notice 6 Flags is not fun anymore. The lines are ridiculously overcrowded. You have to wait 30 minutes or more just for one ride. Then they make the flash pass unaffordable $80 per person if you want to avoid the long wait in line. The prices have skyrocketed. You pay so much money and it’s not even satisfying. They should limit the amount of people that are allowed in the park daily. They should make some system where you have to reserve your visit.

Great Adventure Macho Nacho

When is this thing open ? Every time we go over here it's closed. There's currently 4 staff members there on their phones refusing to open it. It was open around this time yesterday and we were going to get it after El Toro but they closed it right as we went to order !!

Six Flags Employee Benefits/Free park entry

I have been working at Six Flags Fiesta Texas in San Antonio for about 3-4 weeks now and tomorrow I want to go to the park and bring one guest with me. Can ny guest and I get into the park for free with my employee ID or just me and I have to pay for my guest to get a ticket too?

This is my first time going to the park since working here and just a little confused. Thanks in advance for your help and advice!

So Batman at Great Adventure opens next week or?

According to the webpage, it opens in Spring 2026 but with the end of June it pretty much already passed a bit calendar-wise, no? Should we expect it to re-open one of these days or nah?

Thanks in advance

i’m thinking of going to SFGA tomorrow in Jersey and was wondering if anyone had a clue on how bearable the park will be when it’s 100 degrees out?

Does anyone know what time the fireworks will start and end tomorrow? And what would be the top three locations for viewing?
