Do you think it is wrong to donate to the skate community?

So a lil back story.. after go skate day in Pittsburgh that I hosted we decided to donate our ramps to the diy park we started out push at.

Instead of letting these ramps collect dust in our storage unit, we thought skate community deserved them.

We dropped them off at Bloomfield DIY so everyone has more to skate while we wait on the city to move toward future renovations. These ramps value over $1,500 and seeing people enjoy them means a lot more than watching them sit in storage. Do you think it’s wrong to donate to the skate community? Please watch the full video and let me know.

They smashed donated ramps

Someone destroyed donated skate ramps😕

What do you think of this situation? 🤔

Please let us know if us donating ramps to the skate community is bad, and reach out if you know anything. This is unacceptable in our community. And everyone is sick of this type of mindset in not only skating but the world too..

Photographer looking for skaters in Chicago area

Hi, what the title says. I want to expand my photo portfolio and I feel weird about just showing up to a public park and shouting "who will let me take their picture for my website??" Unless that's exactly what I should do, in that case, drop me some friendly park recs. I'd prefer suburbs spots but I know that's being picky. (I'm in the O'Hare area.)

I'd also love info about any meet up/ competitions/ events in the area. Thanks!

My day of skating on 11/11/11

Entry for the date of 11/11/11 from my skateboarding journal that I wrote from 2011 into 2012. I would write the day's events plus things I bought, the weather, and what board I brought. Due to the unusual date figured it'd be interesting to feature here. Also some pictures I took on that day. If anyone is interested in seeing more I'd be happy to post more.

Should you workout if you skate? Or is skating the workout?

I feel like if I do more explosive/plyometric workouts and some balance exercises I'll have better pop, board control and just not be sore afterwards because im lowkey out of shape a little bit. Used to workout on and off like 3 years ago but life got in the way so I dont really anymore.

So, should you workout if you skate?
