Hey everyone!

I’m putting together a casual group skate at the Silver Comet Trail and wanted to see who might be interested in joining.

Whether you’re brand new to skating or have been skating for years, everyone is welcome. The goal is to get outside, enjoy the trail, meet some fellow skaters, and have a fun afternoon.

We’ll gather in the parking lot, introduce ourselves, and then head out on the trail together. Feel free to invite friends, family, or anyone else who enjoys skating.

im gonna buy one of em and not sure which one cuz im a beginner. the roller skates will be slower as compared to rollerblades but rollerblades are way harder to balance as a beginner. should i buy rollerblades (inline skates) or roller skates (quad skates)?

I’m very petite and what to learn to skate. Small feet (size 6 or under) 5’1” 90lbs.
Thoughts on what my deck and wheels should be?
I’m looking to gain confidence and control of the board. I have a long board to cruise ❤️🙏

Hi, I am a teen in England who really wants to get into skateboarding.

Any tips for an absolute beginner (especially with British paths - not exactly the smoothest)

also does anyone have any beginner board recommendations that are relatively cheap but still good quality?

I don't think I mind M/F but probably y'all should be aware that I'm quite anxious and because of that a slow learner. I have lots of fear around hurting myself in general but I'd still like to get to a point where I can cruise around comfortably.

Would be nice to have someone to learn with and stuff. I'm in the midtown area!

I have a cruise board but it's capable of jumps.

after years of threatening to learn to skate, this is my moment! I just want to cruise the streets. "I'm in my 40's and I can do hard things even when I'm terrified" is my affirmation.

Can you all share your favorite brand recommendations for knee / elbow pads. I'm 5'6" 140is lbs. I'll probably start with gloves too because I work with my hands.
