How do i get better at striker?

I always end on a solid endbaord and I just get my board broken so quickly. I just don't know how to actually get better at this game. Ill send my deck list but I think its fine also sorry for bad image quality

Question: how do you break boards with book of eclipse?

I've seen some people main deck it but I am not sure how it works. Do you pair it with lemnisgate? Do you attack over the monsters?

Whyyyy didn’t engage zero! Do the thing?

I DID have raye and roze in the GY btw. I think two copies of each tbh. And btw while I’m asking why doesn’t shizuku activate? I thought it just had to have hit the field at some point in that turn for her effect to activate?

How is everyone playing through an established Ace + 5 set board without relying on hard-drawn mass removal?

As I understand it, the typical sky striker endboard is sky striker Ace - zero and 5 set backrow. What kind of strategies does this established board struggle against, other than hard drawn lightning storm, Harpie's Feather Duster, Evenly Matched etc? Kaiju and similar cards don't seem to work very well. Surely I am missing something simple

Siding patterns for first and second?

Hi guys, here is my current list: https://i.imgur.com/LpkfMXh.png.

I normally find myself siding for going second (in very rough first to last priority):

  1. MST
  2. 1x Widow Anchor/Lemnis/Shark Cannon
  3. Non-relevant other handtraps
  4. 1x F&V

I'm thinking I can also be siding out 2nd Roze. I also don't know how good Upstart Goblin is for siding?

I'm not sure what to side going first (mainly to make space for Thrust + Solemn Accusation).

Branded Strikers in locals (4*-1)

I recently went 4*-1 (4th place) in locals with this Striker list. Let me preface this now that I got insanely lucky and had every heart of the cards I can, I usually go 0-2 and play Magic lol.

There are a bunch of cards that normal striker lists don't play (even disregarding the Branded engine). Quick summary of the big ones.

Eldlich and Delta of Invitation: With set rotation, you can set delta and area zero, using Delta to send Eldlich and Eldlich to add itself into your hand, Delta will add itself back. Eldlich hand eff can target and send Area Zero. 3 spells for 1 and a Raye/Roze on board.

Pot of Avarice and Kaina: In a worst case scenario, Raye/Roze can climb through all the link 1s ending on Shizuku and you have 5 monsters in grave, 4 links and 1 Raye/Roze.

Enemy Controller: Sometimes you just have to clear your main monster zone, tribute for cost, chain Anchor.

Now for the Branded Engine. Branded is probably the biggest hurdle for base Strikers, I figured I will use the Branded to defeat the Branded. DoomZ is also fairly annoying and also popular in my locals, using their Drastrius to make a Mirrorjade helps. Area Zero target then chain Ecclesia/Omega was also pretty dope. Omega and Dogma is also insane, putting back Lemnisgate allows for near infinite recursion. It was quite unfortunate I didn't have the chance to vs one in the event. You can always normal White Albaz to summon Ecclesia and make a Camellia/Azalea.

Round 1: Bye

Round 2: Elfnote White Forest (W2-0)

Set up an average striker board but the main winner was Silent Graveyard stopping all the WF spells/traps resetting themselves and Azamina Elzette from even triggering. Game 2 was fairly simple, Droplet and Evenly; crashing Hayate into Diabell Queen to send and trigger Raye was nice. End of battle phase, Raye eff chain Evenly was so much value.

Round 3: Runick Stun (W2-0)

I went first sine my opponent usually plays Artmage, so I was quite surprised. It was a pretty one sided match up, MST and Fallen eventually forced all Hugin protections and Inspector Boarder doesn't help against 30+ spells/traps.

Round 4: VSK9 (0-2L)

Insanely one sided, we can't win them all. Caeser reveal D-shifter g1 was kinda insulting. Droll'd game 2. What can you do, its yugioh.

Round 5: DoomZ (W1-1)

My opponent had to leave early and conceded. Won game 1 with so many Engage loops and sheer luck. Opp had a weak hand and couldn't play through Zero, anchors, and lemnisgate. Game 2, I felt as though I could've won, opened double Eclipse, but misplayed because we were in a rush to finish. HAMP'd incorrect guys and overall general misplays with thrust/talents.

Deck advice

Though about this blind going second striker deck profile for local (no fallen and superpoly because not really a big fan of superpoly unintereactive nature and trying to make the deck budget)

I dont get it

Im returning to yugioh after a few years and I remember sky striker being the most annoying deck to play against

I bought the modern decks and i saw sky striker in there i also pulled the starlight rare zero. I dont get the point of the deck i want to like it

Whats the gameplan? Like why only have one vulnerable monster out at a time? Can someone explain what the deck actually does to me?

Spectra Union's Captial custom striker support.

Looked at the Spectra city frame from the manga, and I had an itch to make a card out of it.

I referenced the gloomy, steampunk, dystopian motif from Roze Enage's art of the city.

In terms of card design, I kinda want to see some interaction for the GY/banishment, whilst enabling possible recursion in Strikers, but not necessarily an ideal generic 1-card starter.

The city looks cool, and that is all.

Master Duel: In the current meta (Branded and Kewl Tunes), and keeping Droll in mind, which is generally more useful between 3x Upstart Goblin and 3x Pot of Desires?

As asked above. I'm already running 3x Visions and Engages but want that extra drawing power.
