BLACK CHARACTERS IN CUTSCENES BUG (need fix)

ive been playing sleeping dogs for a while now but ive been getting this constant issue where after 20 or 30 minutes of launching the game and playing when a mission cutscene comes, all the characters become black with no explanation what so ever. Its normal for the first few missions then it just goes all tarintino. NEED HELP WID FIXING THIS. some info: this is the original version that i downloaded off of archive.org. Ive tried tweaking graphic.xml files and even asked chatgpt and nothing has worked so far....

2nd best special outfit in the game. 1st is drunken master.

Also someone posted something saying how to deal with tanks and they didn't know you can grapple tanks when your face ability activates. I'm wondering how many people dont know you can.

Help with 2 clothes is the clothing trophy bugged ?

Im trying to get the 2 last trophies the clothing trophy didn’t pop and the game says I am missing 2 clothes but I can’t find them the one of them is jiang shi Cap and the other is awareness band the other trophy is reach lvl 10 triad

Hot Take - 2011 Prototype Sleeping Dogs was better before Square Enix

Among many things, I actually surprisingly appreciate the 2011 prototype more than the final edition we ended up getting. From the more difficult - non-telegraphed fighting, to the highly intensified racing, and action cameras & slightly tweaked driving physics; along with the shifting & turbo sounds while driving. Even the small things like music selection & seeing the DHL guy dropping off packages, and police issuing tickets to citizens for loitering. I won't get too much more into detail because I know many people will play it themselves and find the details I mentioned, and many more that I didn't. All-in-all, it really gives off the True Crime feeling a bit more than we ended up getting
