anyone else super disappointed with all the smocked RTS drops/POs lately? i feel like everything is starting to look so tacky and doesn’t give off that sweet southern bell vibe anymore. i used buy at least a few smocks a week from multiple shops, now it’s like everyone’s ran out of ideas or something.

Who’s your favorite user on whatnot for smocks?! I love Ava June Boutique but would like to look for others! 🥰

Hi. I am the old mod. This is my throwaway. I had to shut it down because some of the owners were threatening to go IRL and threatening me. Crystal apparently had a whole list of people who they were trying to figure out who was who. Sounds like her time would be better spent on her actual business but whatever.
I have 2 under 2 and I recently went back to work full time and I just can’t keep up with the 300 messages a day, smock owners constantly reporting every little thing, on top of people trying to figure out who I am.

I am sorry to have shut it down but I have to do what’s best for my family.

I’m not sure how the rumors about me being an owner / involved with owners got started but I promise I’m not lol. I haven’t even bought anything in probably 6-12 months and we only use Temu bows. I’m not affiliated with any brand but especially not bows lol.

I am sorry if it seemed like I favored one shop over another, most of the time it was Reddit automatically deleting something because the account was too new or something like that

Here recently, I decided to resell a bunch of my smocked outfits boy and girl. Tell me why all these people pm me saying “I’m a stay at home mom and I just can’t afford this right now. Can you cut me a deal for them?” And then say like $10 per smock. Like I get it but no they message me to the point I had 3 people blocked to 22 people. I’m broke too sis but their outfits will never show it nor will I ever beg for something I can’t afford. Like I have a budget to stick in for their clothes. The money I make off resell goes right back into buying smock.

You can sit here all day and say that I have no empathy. But in reality of it, there’s a thrift store near your area.

Im a part time SAHM of 3. The money I make is the extra for the my kids on stuff that not a requirement if that makes sense.

It breaks my heart to see people tearing each other down.
We all have a voice. Some people use theirs to lift others up, while others use it to be hurtful. The majority of this group is made up of moms. Ask yourself: is this the example you want to set for your children?
When your child doesn’t like someone, what do you teach them?
Do you tell them to go gossip about that person to everyone else?
Or do you teach them to walk away and focus on themselves?
I know what I teach my child. If someone isn’t hurting you, don’t get involved. Don’t insert yourself into someone else’s drama, and don’t let other people’s words control your emotions.
Be a better example. Be a better human. If you don’t like someone, simply don’t involve yourself with them.
Now, there is a difference between drama and accountability.
If someone sold you a bad product, let people know.
If someone took your money and never shipped your order, let people know.
Those are things that help protect others.
But if someone shares their honest opinion about a product they purchased, and you simply don’t like their opinion that doesn’t make them mean. That’s called a review. Buyers are absolutely entitled to share their experience, whether it’s positive or negative.
As a business owner, use that feedback to improve your business instead of viewing every criticism as a personal attack. Honest reviews help businesses grow, and they help other buyers make informed decisions.
This group has the potential to be supportive and uplifting, but lately it feels more harmful than helpful.
Women already face enough challenges. We continue to fight for equal opportunities, equal pay, and equal representation in leadership. Building a business is hard enough without other women trying to tear each other down.
Instead of making life harder for one another, let’s choose to support, encourage, and hold each other accountable in healthy ways. We don’t have to agree with everyone, but we can choose kindness.

I'm not downing your business but those prices are crazy. I love your designs but on some you added to much detail. Care bears has more details than the Minnie mouse but minnie is higher priced. The Dalmatians was perfect until more and more was added. Yes people want quality and theres still ways to provide that. Some people want the clothes for everyday wear not just pageants. People's not trying to be negative its just in today's economy and so many wanted to preorder and now we cant over the price.
