Anyone listen to DET and hear them laughing about their podcast rating being poor? It didn’t land the way I think they expected it to…it seemed like a pathetic attempt to poke fun at the fact that people are not loving this set up anymore. If they had a larger audience, sure I could get the poking fun at yourself, but this clearly is a sinking ship so it just makes them look sad. I’m not exactly sure how podcast contracts work, but I kinda took their attitude as ‘we will ride this thing til it dies’ simply to collect any minute amount of ad revenue.

Just listened to the ariana episode and not only was the outline bad but her takes were HORRIBLE. Ariana is protecting Dan Schneider??? Just an insane conclusion to jump to

Idk if she really has this bad of takes or is just bad at articulating herself either way idk if podcasting is for her. She’s about to get hit with a lawsuit

Also the way she talks about celebs doing coke every episode… You can tell she’s very sheltered. And again lawsuit lol

I swear every time Sophie disagrees, Christy acts like HR just joined the call. 😭 Let yourself disagree! That’s why people listen to podcasts. I’d rather hear two people genuinely debate than listen to someone immediately file an apology for having a take.
