pls help

I am having an issue with the trader. I am able to call them and see all of their trades however I cannot make the trade itself. Is there a quest I am missing?

I'm not sure if it's the intended way, replanting work in this pack but I'm pretty sure it's not lol.

When harvesting a fully grown crop with a how, the fruits are getting harvested and automatically replanted, no matter if I have the seeds for it or not. It does feel super cheaty since there is no need to buy more seeds or use the seed maker once you've got your field covered.

Anyone else experiencing this bug? For now I'm just left instead of right clicking to destroy the crops instead of harvesting and replanting them

I've played through the bulk of this modpack, and until I started doing testing for a potential fishing-only run, I had never caught the box item while fishing. I had lockboxes, treasure chests, and neptune's bounties, and I even found boxes in loot chests and dig spots, but I had never fished up a box until I was fishing in my test world. And even then, only once. The normal box would be insanely valuable to get in a fishing-only run, but I have no idea what its catch conditions would be that make it so much rarer than the other boxes. Does anyone know how the pack decides which loot box you fish up? And more to the point, how would you increase the odds of getting the normal box?

It's pretty overwhelming considering all the changes and possibilities it can offer, I am seeing myself playing this until I finish or is satisfied with the base SSV. It's a great version - I played for a couple of hours, it is very overwhelming for me. But, great overall, I feel like I don't deserve playing this until I finish the base SSV.

What's in the title. After I pick up and then place back the hamster, it looses all its hearts.

Hi im new at this modpack and i dont understand how it works. I traveled so many blocks and didnt find any village. Are they disabled or im just really unlucky?

What do you use to collect from the mystery mines? I've tried using a sophisticated barrel with an advanced hopper upgrade, but the item gets spit out anyway. I could Surround it in hoppers if I really wanted to but I was wondering if there was a better way before I invest into hoppers.

Sunlit Valley removes Cobblemon's "Medicinal Leek" in favor of implementing it's own method of creating medicines.

Unfortunately, the leek ALSO doubles as the signature held item of Farfetch'd and Sirfetch'd, raising it's crit ratio by two stages.

Did they think of that and implement some workaround to allow for obtaining this held item effect for Farfetch'd/Sirfetch'd, or do they just not have access to it in Sunlit Cobblemon?

hey, i wonder is there a way to make the auto trader like trade faster? and what does the other item slot beside the currency slot do? is there something i can put to make it faster?

I love this modpack, but I've been having not such a great time with Species and its lack of "how tf does any of this work?".

I've actually figured most of it out through several hours of a handful of let's play videos with varying degrees of success and my own trial and error. I was finally able to breed some wraptors and find the eggs for goober and the thing with the stretchy neck, but the Cruncher... the goddamn Cruncher...

It was RNG hell, but I did eventually get an egg after an actual day spent searching the server for the correct biome (which generates sparsely in this seed), finding archeology sites, and carefully brushing hundreds of suspicious red sand blocks. This was WITH an elytra and natures compass.

The only reason I knew that this is where to get the egg was from a very small handful of not-great videos that did not mention how rare the egg is, and from a much more helpful reply from a user in this sub, who also gave me the heads up about fighting and taming the Cruncher after it spawns.

I followed those directions, but the beast did not spawn and the egg broke; leaving me empty handed and frustrated.

Those are my complaints.. Now here's my question: Is there some documentation I'm missing? Something buried in the quest book? A wiki? A semi-decent in-depth video? Hell even a discord with this modpack in mind? I'd like to tame a Cruncher so I can trade scales and upgrade my cheese production as well as get eggs for other people in the server, but I really don't want to waste another weekend loading chunks trying to find badlands that I can then spend hours in rolling RNG for an extremely rare egg that is going to bug out or that I'm going to mess up trying to hatch incorrectly... I get that it's not supposed to be easy, but this is ridiculous.

I'm playing in a singleplayer world, build a starter base in a forest biome, planted some crops, but for some reason the season doesn't change.

I'm on day 33 now and the biome season is still early spring day 42.

I know that some biomes are season locked but 42 days of early spring seems really odd...

Is it okay to update my current su lit valley version 4.0.8 to the cobblemon? I mean, transfer all data - saves, resource packs, certain configs, etc etc, to that modpack? Is the only difference between the two is that one has cobblemon? Is it generally the same? TIA for answering

Fairly new, only a few days(irl) into the pack. A bit stuck on what's a solid money maker for now

When you leave the cavern for the first time, do you start back where you were when you last left, or do you start from the surface again?
