I was just thinking about Solapur today and honestly… this city gets way less appreciation than it deserves 😂..

It’s definitely not perfect. Roads are chaotic most of the time, summer season iski baath na kare hi behtar hai... There are a few days where the city goes stand still with nothing happening 😭...

Contrast to above there is something about Solapur...

The random chai stops, Saat Rasta, Park Chowk, Siddheshwar temple, evening drives on Hotgi or Akkalkot Road, the local markets, bhakri… just the general vibe of the place.

Not saying Solapur is some hidden paradise or anything....

Just saying.....

There is something oddly lovable ♥️ about this place.....

We are arriving from Bangalore at Solapur Station at 6:00 AM on Oct 12 and need to complete a day trip to Shri Tulja Bhavani Temple before catching our 10:00 PM return train on the same day. Since this falls right during the Navratri rush, we want to ensure our timeline is realistic and smooth.

Could locals advise on the best transport to Tuljapur around 7:00 AM. whether the station cloakroom/retiring rooms are reliable. Any tips on traffic or strict rules to watch out for would be greatly appreciated!
