Ty Beanie Babies Shadow
My Ty Beanie Babies Shadow just arrived and I wanted to post a mini review, as there don't seem to be many "irl" photos of him online.
First of all, he looks MUCH better than the prototype image on some websites. I took a real gamble ordering on Amazon because I wasn't sure what would turn up, but luckily the cute version arrived!
So, things of note:
All of his detailing (eyes, mouth, gloves, etc) is printed on, including his chest fur, which looked fluffy in the photos but is not (it's a good illusion though!). HOWEVER, for some reason his back of head spikes (but not the main one) are a sort of leathery red material, which is interesting! I hope it won't degrade over time.
His ears, back spines and tail are flat pieces.
He has beads in his little hands, feet, and butt.
He has a cute little smile instead of his usual frown!
They actually bothered to put details on the bottom of his shoes, which is uncommon and nice.
Overall very happy with the little guy and he'll make a good addition to my collection!
