How to make a lead similar to this?
This lead is on Destroid's track "Bounce", which has Space Laces as a collaborator.
And this is imo a pretty space lacesy sound and I figured you guys would know more about how to make something similar :)

I’ve had this clip for a while. Asked hydraulix after the show what this was (nice dude in person and happy to chat). It was noisy so I’m not sure if he knew which track I was talking about. He said something about space laces sitting on so much insane music and this was one of those unreleased IDs. I haven’t seen this one uploaded by space laces fans anywhere. Does anyone have an info on this track or know if it is indeed space laces? It goes so hard and holds up to modern standards. This was a small club without the best sound and this track still blew my socks off.
More than happy to be corrected if this is another artist’s work, especially if it is something that released.
Edit: I found it [https://youtube.com/shorts/5OWdtcijxSk?si=e7t3jhkCelBKcdBi] this is apparently Space Laces, Excision & Dion Timmer - ID
Hey r/skrillex,
First off, let me say I've been a long-time fan of Skrillex and an avid lurker of this subreddit for quite some time. Skrillex was kind of the first artist that got me into making music, which I did for like 7+ years before I stopped writing back in 2020.
Anyways, I've been a big fan of the song RECOVERY lately. I still have a little bit of hope we'll get an official full-length release, but in the meantime I came up with this.
I always thought the FUS edit had a harder drop than the demo version, and quite frankly, I was never really a fan of how the demo version just cuts off midway in the second drop. I understand why producers do this (because it cuts down time significantly), but as a fan, I want something I can listen to.
Now I've come across a couple of longer edits that use the FUS version and the demo version and marry them together, but since both songs are in different keys and FUS has THINGS I PROMISED and watermarks in there, it never sounded good to me.
So the other day, I had the idea to do my own edit of the FUS version using the demo stems. I took the demo song, put it into an online stem splitter, then I went into Ableton and painstakingly recreated the first half of the FUS edit (before the second 1,2,3 vocal sample) for the second drop. Now it's obviously not complete, but this is about as close as I could get since so many of the sounds in the second half of the FUS drop aren't available in the demo version.
The noticeable differences between the FUS edit and my edit are that I left out the pitch-shifts Skrillex added in there, I took out THINGS I PROMISED entirely, and I turned the kicks (that sit right before the second 1,2,3 vocal sample when the song goes "I wanna hear you bring that beat back) from quarter notes into eighth notes since I thought it could be used in a DJ set to bring in another song. It's not perfect, but it's a pretty damn close recreation of the FUS edit.
Anyways, I hope you guys like it. Would love to hear what you guys think :)

Came across someone’s comment on YouTube saying this release date. Had to verify it, but looks legit.
Now can we also get an EP with some of the Vaultage 004 tracks and a full release of Recovery?
All tracks on this mix are amazing, so the ratings are relative to the other tracks present (except for Ice Pick, SVDDEN DEATH just ain't for me unfortunately)
Side note: My father (58 years old) has never listened to dubstep let alone EDM - I had him watch and listen to the entirety of Vaultage 004 and he's now obsessed, can't stop talking about it. Goes to show how undeniably talented this man is.
