SPLATTERPUNK AUTHOR AND READER! I'm here to ask if you would like to see more long form series in the genre or if you think it lends itself more to One-Off Novels and Novellas!

I'm currently five books into my splatterpunk/sci-fi horror series and I'm wondering why there are so few (series) in Splatterpunk. I have several Novellas sitting in my back pocket, but my passion is currently in my series. I wonder if the amount of investment a series asks of readers is a lot in this particular horror space. Would you prefer to see more long form content in the Splatterpunk space or do you think the brevity of a one-off novel/novella is more fitting to the goals of Splatterpunk or horror in general? Maybe there's a sweet spot?
