Edit: This is my first 1/1, I’m still pumped about it. Big fan of the non-baseball baseball cards too.

Decided to try out the Allen & Ginter hobby boxes at the local card shop this week and pulled my first ever 1/1.

Four value boxes, made my money back ten times over

Worth slabbing up? Any idea value as is raw?

Topps is on their game with the redemptions! I had two and both came back in about 2 weeks time.

My mother in law recently inherited thousands of cards/sports memorabilia and we honestly don’t really know where to start. Most of the cards are mid 80’s-90’s. I’m relatively novice in sports cards. I have quite a few newer cards and have been learning as I go. I know that far majority of these cards were printed in the Junk Wax Era and they have little to no value. However with this many cards there has to be some worth a decent amount. It would be near impossible for me to look up every player/card/variation. If you were me, what advice would you give? Where/how would you start?

EDIT*** I live in Oklahoma City. All of this stuff is in Florida (majority if not all of it) is being driven from Florida to Fort Worth (Texas). My mother in law & one of her brothers lives in Fort Worth. The brother is supposed to be going and driving all of this stuff back in a few weeks. I’m very close with my mother in law. She has some knowledge of cards but not a lot. I am a teacher and will have time to visit her house several times before the end of the year. I plan on going to her house & her brother’s house to begin sorting the cards the best we can.

Vendor declined 2 million from somebody who offered at the show and couldn’t believe my ears

I’m not sure how much this is worth. I found it in a storage unit I bought. If somebody wants to buy it I would hear offers

Looking into purchasing a raw ‘86 sticker. Can anyone make a determination on its authenticity? I know some of the basic things I should be looking for but would appreciate a more expert opinion.

I was going through my dad’s card collection with him from when he was young and aside from these he has an insane number of other cards from this set too. I know some of these are worth getting graded, but is there like a cut off of value to get something graded or not? And what is the best way to protect them and keep them in good shape?

Do I get it graded? Sell now? Hold? Not a huge sports card collector but as a huge sports fan I know what the significance of the card is

How much are we thinking for this on value?

Unreal! Trey Yesavage 1/1 Superfractor Nike swoosh patch auto JCAR/TY 1/1!

Pulled this from my first Bowman Chrome 26 hobby box last week. Could not believe at first that was a 1/1 patch auto Nike Swoosh Superfractor, always loved Nike patch auto cards and never pull stuff like this.

Also the fact it was on my 30th birthday I was blown away, best birthday present I’ve ever received lol.

Just got through sorting my cards. Numbered/autos/rares are on the dresser. And then I stumbled upon the holy grail. Currently freaking out
