C8 ZO6 or new base model 911
Can you please give me the pros and cons of both?
Can you please give me the pros and cons of both?
Alright guys, so I'm making a script for a video that i want to make about the timeline of supercars, so I want everyone who sees this to share it at least and put as many supercars you can name in the comments. Put the production date, while also making everything in order from oldest to newest. Thanks!
Hi,
I wanted some opinion and help for picking out a wing. I really like the ADRO AT R3 Swan Neck for the G82, but was hesitant on purchasing it. I wanted to see what people's experience with it is like, if it makes driving any harder with rear visibility, or parking, or anything of the sort. Does it also sit super high or look out of place, or does it look fine.
I also wanted to see which one you guys would think would look better with my car rn. I have a Dravit Gray G82, it has a v style front lip, side skirts, and rear cannard winglets on the back!
Thanks guys!
Hey everyone,
I'm torn and need a reality check.
Currently have an E93 335i. It sounds fantastic and has effortless power. But I'm anxious every single time I drive it. The constant fear of N54 issues completely ruins the experience. I'm always listening for weird noises instead of enjoying the road.
I'm considering selling it and picking up a manual ZC31S Swift Sport.
The logic:
• Pros: Minimal reliability anxiety, cheap maintenance, and a ~1,000 kg chassis I can actually rev out to 7,200 RPM on local roads without risking my license.
• Cons: Massive drop in power, losing the inline-6 turbo sound and German interior refinement.
Has anyone gone from a fast, heavy, high-maintenance car to a simple "slow car fast" hatchback for the weekend? Did you regret losing the power, or did losing the stress make driving fun again?
Appreciate any thoughts!
I’m 19 and I am looking at buying a car and I have really become set on this car. I’m looking to buy one in November and I want to know as much as I can about what I should look for when I go to look at them. Tell me everything you know maintenance wise, why I should buy it and why I shouldn’t. Also what should I do when I buy it to make sure I don’t run into any problems.
Really wanting a Miata as my first it’s the only good looking sports car that is on the cheaper side besides the gr86(insurance is crazy high tho) my mom would be fine with me getting it besides safety she claims that it’s to small to be safe and she hasn’t researched it at all it’s one of those mom no’s like she really means no. I’ve tried to use the argument that since there small their easier to move to prevent crashes yet she targets back with that I’m a beginner driver and I won’t be able to do that. Also she had a sports car as her first car my brother had a Nissan leaf which is arguably just as small and my dad had one
Any argument points?!? if not please suggest another car (also won’t let me get a mustang but that’s reasonable)
really like the look of sports cars and I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for any sports cars (or cars that look sporty) which are preferably 10k maximum.
I know a lot of sports cars aren't covered by insurances as a first time driver (I am in the UK so I know it might be different in other places) so I was just wondering it there were any.
Someone told me that 4 cylinder sportscars aren't 'sportscars'. What do yall think
I need help deciding on a purchase. I am looking at a new 992.2 911 base, z06, and ctv-5 blackwing can any owners give me there feedback on there experiences with them?
I wont be buying either of these cars anytime super soon but when the time comes I want to be set on one of these. I currently drive a 2016 genesis sedan and I love it but would like something sportier. A C7 Z06 is a longtime dream car of mine but recently ive been really looking at the 2022+ G70s (specifically sport prestige) because of their high luxury, awd drivetrain, solidly reliable engine, and their high potential performance. They would both probably be daily driven and probably driven hard a good 60% of the time. Ive had a hard time deciding between these two options because I love both so much but unfortunately could not afford to have both so I figured I should just ask reddit for help.
Hey guys! I am looking into getting another car to hopefully finish my ideal 4-car garage idea. I currently own the following.
Daily: 2004 VW GTI
- Lowered
- stock tuned for reliability purposes.
- paid off
Truck: 1985 GMC Classic sierra C1500,
- lowered,
- 383S swap W/ TH400 for towing purposes.
- paid off
Track build: 1985 Monte Carlo SS
- full suspension upgrade
- built 383S W/ built 200R4
- fiber glass body panels
- paid off
Financial: I make +7k a month, I have $40k saved up for a down payment if needed, 700 Credit score.
Gas isn’t an issue, neither is insurance costs. I can comfortably afford a $1,500 payment.
Now, I have done my research on tons of cars ranging from GX series Lexus’s to even the new Lotus Emira yet I’ve yet to pull the string on anything yet with the idea there might be a car I never heard of that would be perfect for me. I know I need a car that can handle
random 2 plus hours of driving and preferably something more luxurious than my Golf. I’m open to all ideas.
My top 4:
I love cars that sound better and better the higher you rev them 😂
