A hit for the ages. On August 7, 1999, Wade Boggs, then with Tampa Bay, became the first player to ever hit a HR for their 3,000th hit.

I want to say we are seeing NFL tackles on Caitlin Clark, but the hip drop is literally banned in the NFL. 😭

Six years later and they’re still together. Texans rookie TE Marlin Klein and Pistons dancer Morgan Mescher have been together since high school. Seeing them go from high school sweethearts to where they are now is pretty cool.

Cal Raleigh has a lower average this season than one-armed outfielder Pete Gray did for the 1945 St. Louis Browns. How did this dude hit 60 home runs last year?

Vince Wilfork says he walked away from football because rookies started leaving the locker room without showering “That’s why I retired. Because I saw the rookies coming in, and I don’t like what they stood for. This is not how I came through and learned the ball and played football...”

Idiot fan slide tackles Juventus' Federico Gatti and legitimately injures him after a friendly. He's out for their season opener against Frosinone.

Kayshon Boutte had a solid season in New England. The Patriots WR finished last season with 551 yards and 6 touchdowns, helping the team reach the Super Bowl. At just 24, Boutte could be an interesting option for Houston.

Who will it be next year? My guess: Brady and... Brady.

But I don't see Kubiak sticking. I believe Mike McDaniel might get a shot to help Mendoza if the Chargers cook offensively.

Can Andy Reid Catch Don Shula’s All-Time Wins Record?

If Reid can’t pass Shula before he retires, that record might be untouchable for a long, long time. Do you think Reid gets there?

Novak Djokovic says Kobe Bryant taught him to stop avoiding the painful tape and to deliberately rewatch the moments that made him uncomfortable because that’s where you learn

“I had a three-year period where I didn’t win a Slam. I was winning some big tournaments, but I couldn’t win a Slam. These two guys were beating me in every big match, Federer and Nadal.”

“I changed rackets, team members. I did everything I could to find the right formula. I was struggling physically as well. I was very thorough in my analysis of the matches afterwards, even though I don’t necessarily like to watch matches that I lost.”

“Kobe Bryant used to talk about this a lot. When I was talking to him personally about that, he said, even if it’s just specific intervals of the match that you lost, you definitely look at that. You need to analyze that.”

“You need to go through that cramping feeling because that’s where you learn from those mistakes. That’s where you have an opportunity to rectify that the next tournament or next match. That helped a lot.”

My hot take: Venus is one of the GOATs obviously. But this is getting a bit silly. These Grand Slams want a cheap ratings and ticket sales boost, while she continues to rack up losses. Helps nobody, honestly.

Harden has been through it all without getting that ring. Now in Cleveland, could this finally be the year he gets one? 98 playoff wins and still no title is something.
