music doesn’t feel the same anymore

I’ve noticed for almost a year now that my music taste has been changing so much and I genuinely don’t know what to do anymore. Music used to be one of the most important things to me, but now I barely even listen to music anymore and I honestly hate that. The weird thing is that I still go to a lot of concerts, so music obviously still means a lot to me. But on Spotify I basically only have my old main playlist left, and because my taste changed so much I don’t even like most of the songs in it anymore. I think part of the problem is that my music taste is way too broad now. I can go from one genre to a completely different one in like 5 minutes, so nothing really sticks anymore. Every time I make a new playlist I listen to it a couple times and then I already get bored of it again. Either the playlist feels too short or I suddenly don’t like the songs anymore. And now my main playlist is getting way too long again because my music taste is literally all over the place I’ve tried making monthly playlists, playlists based on genres, separate playlists for different moods, literally everything, but nothing really works for me anymore. Now whenever I open Spotify I just sit there not knowing what to play anymore someone please help me fix my spotify life

at this point i genuinely don’t know what to do anymore

I will be adding new artists and new songs to my playlist on Spotify. currently it's 40 songs. Over 25 different musicians and 8 saves. I will choose the first ones to comment but NO AI generated music (that's non negotiable) I do not like AI generated album covers as well but I can give it a pass if the music is good or at least human. Preferably underground rap, alternative hiphop, abstract music.

You will be added to the top 20 btw that means you will be featured but if you are added you need to save the playlist and pin it in your profile. I will use an honesty trust system for now but I don't want to add more people to the playlist unless they are serious or at least committed.

Fun Playlist Idea

I’m making a playlist with a vibe like “POV: it’s the 1950s and I’m in love.”
I’m not strictly limiting it to music from that era, I just want songs that feel romantic, nostalgic, warm, or cinematic like that kind of old-school love story energy. I’ll definitely give older songs a chance too.
Any recommendations? Any genre is fine as long as it fits the vibe.
