The whole point of a sequel is to be better than the game that came before it and that’s exactly what 2 did. Better graphics, better combat, more weapons, way more suits, way better traversal, and better quality of life features. It’s a no brainer that 2 is the best in the series despite the trolls here on Reddit and the grifters on YouTube say. Newer is always better, it’s common sense.
If Star Fox ‘26 has a teaser for the next game, what do you think it could be? Could it be a teaser for the rumored “Adventure-style” game? Maybe a post-credits scene showing Sauria? Something with Miyu & Fay? This is just meant to be fun speculation. There actually being any kind of teaser for a new game is anyone’s guess.
I’ve been working on my own version of the Star Fox universe, what animals do you guys reckon would be cool for the fourth member of an Assault/Aparoid War era Team Star Wolf?
A follow up post to my previous one, if you had to give Katt three team members post Lylat War, what species would they be?
Update from my last post, had to reupload because the file was being stupid
This is such a minor thing, but man I never liked this zero era/ Galaxy movie belt buckle man. It really annoys me from a design pov, like it’s oddly asymmetrical and it’s not practical in the slightest. Look at it, it’s literally digging into his thigh, there’s no way that’s comfortable when he’s sitting down. Glad the new design is back to basics, the classic belts were perfectly fine.
May sound weird at first, but think about it for a second. He DOES have that rich and intimidating timbre. Imagine Sideshow Bob's voice yelling, "Playtime is OVER, Star Fox!"
I'm on chapter 4 and I gotta say I'm impressed. The classic anime inspired art style and story is fantastic, with great voice acting.
But more importantly, the controls are tight. And it puts enough of it's own spin on things to differentiate it from Starfox. It really feels like its doing its own thing but still nodding to on-rails games of the past.
For $4, it's worth it just for some quick fun before Starfox comes out.

When James died, Fox became an orphan. It was Peppy who took him under his wing until Fox was ready to follow James's footsteps. During this time, Fox should have probably formed a sibling bond with Lucy.
During the events of Star Fox Command, we learn that Lucy always wanted to become a Pilot. We also learn that she became Krystal's best friend.
This last bit is specially important. One of Krystal's biggest flaw is that she's written to be Fox's love interest, and has little to none interaction with other Star Fox members. Having her BFF in the team prior to her return will allow Krystal to have some decent interactions that do not revolve solely on being Fox's girl.
Being Peppy's daughter, Fox's symbolic sister, and Krystal's best friend, Lucy has a lot of potential as a mediator that helps to improve the relationship between members of the team and avoid infighting during rough times. Her inclusion to the team would be easy and would probably feel natural, since Slippy and Falco should already know her by now.
If you are still not convinced, imagine an alternate dimension/reality where Peppy dies in Venom and James is the one to make it out alive. Being now an orphan, Lucy is taken under James's wing, and both Lucy and Fox are trained by legendary Mr. McCloud himself. Can you imagine how badass these two would turn out to be? Surely that sounds interesting at least.
I certainly believe Lucy should be added as the 5th member, I'd love to see some brother-sister dynamic between Fox and Lucy. As much as I love Fay, Miyu and Krystal, I believe Lucy has the biggest potential to make a good narrative, at least in the early stages of the franchise.
I know that this is probably a stretch since Starfox is a niche series, but is there a Starfox youtuber that you like? They do not have to be full on board, just some of their content needs to be SF related
