A few of the times I have seen British comedian, Stewart Lee, live in concert doing stand up comedy.
I just spent ages taking photos of all the accompanying flyers as well, but I didn't realise this stupid sub only allows one image per post instead of 12 like all the best subs do.
Anyway, to me it looks like I haven't seen Stew live for a while now. I'm not sure why tbh. There was a period where I was obsessed with him and if I wasn't seeing him live I was listening to his Resonance FM shows on repeat on illegally downloaded mp3s, or I was watching DVDs (bought from shops) of shows of his I had already seen live.
I still like him a lot. I like how he has embraced the world of being a bankable podcast guest, it shows a more approachable, dare I say relatable side of him that has been hitherto overshadowed by the persona of "Stewart Lee" the stage act. Anyway, I still think he's a genius and I am very glad to have seen him live lots of times (not all my tickets are here, I think I lost some).
My favourite ever show he did was supporting The Nightingales in 2017/18, where he performed material he hadn't done in about thirty years and then proceeded to pull it to pieces. Wonderful stuff.
