PLEASE Answer me

Are there any students in Hungary who paid their own tuition fees for the first year and then applied for Stipendium Hungaricum the following year and were successful in receiving a scholarship?

Syrian student i Russia, can I go out?

Hi guys! I’m a Syrian student who got a place through the Russian government scholarship, and I’m going to Russia this year to start a Bachelor’s in Computer Science (including the preparatory year).

Because of my financial and personal circumstances, I basically have to go to Russia for now, but I absolutely do not want to settle there long-term. My plan is to keep applying for opportunities abroad while I’m studying there.

So my question is: can I apply for Bachelor’s programs/scholarships in other countries while I’m physically studying in Russia? I’m talking about Europe (especially Romania/Germany), Canada, the US, China, etc.

I’m completely fine with starting my Bachelor’s from Year 1 again — I’m not trying to transfer my credits. I’m mainly worried that being a Syrian citizen already studying in Russia might make me ineligible for certain scholarships or create visa/admission problems that I wouldn’t have if I were still in Syria.

Also, is there anything that would actually prevent me from leaving Russia later if I get accepted somewhere else?

I’ve been trying to find real examples of Syrians or other international students who started university in Russia and later moved to another country, but I haven’t found many.

Has anyone here done something similar, or knows someone who has? I’d really appreciate any personal experiences or advice on the best pathways. Thanks!

Indian student for stipendium hungaricum scholarship

I want to apply for this scholarship in the upcoming november (2026) but I have few doubts-

1- i want to study medicine on full ride from semmilweis or debreccen, so can i apply for it under this scholarship like is it available for Indian students?

2- read many things about UGC not conducting it properly or nominating students from India a year ago. So, is there any update regarding this scholarship for this session?

ANY ADVICE OR INFORMATION IS APPRECIATED

ATTENTION FUTURE SCHOLARS FROM INDIA

Hey everyone,

My name is Jospen "its my online name", I'm from India, and I recently won the Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship for the 2026–27 intake. 🇭🇺

I honestly wanted to make this post because when I started my application, I had so many doubts and I couldn't find one place that explained the whole process properly.

My Class 12 percentage wasn't particularly high, and I didn't have some crazy list of extracurricular activities either. What I did have was a strong SOP, a personal story, careful university/course selection, and a lot of research into how the whole process actually works.

I also handled my Hungarian visa application myself and received my visa surprisingly quickly within around 10–14 working days.

The biggest thing I learned throughout this journey is that you don't necessarily need to have the most impressive profile. You need to understand the process, know how to present yourself properly, and make smart decisions at every stage.

Now that I've gone through almost the entire journey myself from the scholarship application and UGC nomination process, university selection and interviews, all the way to the visa process. I'm thinking of helping other Indian students who want to apply for the next intake.

The 2027–28 application cycle should start around November, so there's still time to prepare properly.

I can help with things like:

Understanding the Stipendium Hungaricum application process

University and course selection

SOP/personal story development

Making your profile stronger with the opportunities you actually have

Preparing for university interviews

Understanding the UGC nomination stage

Visa documentation and application process

Common mistakes I learned to avoid

I'm not claiming to be an official representative of the scholarship or UGC. I'm just a student who went through the process myself and wants to share what I learned.

If enough people are interested, I may offer one-to-one guidance for a small/minimal fee, mainly because of the time involved in going through individual applications.

If you'd like to know more, you can email me at:

jospenanderson6765@gmail.com

We can discuss everything there first and, if necessary, connect on WhatsApp.

I genuinely hope this helps someone who is sitting there thinking, "My marks aren't good enough, so I probably can't get this scholarship."

I was in a similar position.

Sometimes it's not about having the perfect profile. It's about knowing how to make the most of the profile you have.

Good luck to everyone preparing for the next intake. ❤️🇭🇺

How is the Kinizsi Dorm?

I will be starting my bachelor’s in Business Infomatics at Corvinus University of Budapest in the upcoming school semester, and i got placed in Kinizsi Dormitory.

For anyone who has stayed at this dorm before, how are the rooms like and the communal toilets and bathrooms?

As far as i know the toilets are separated by gender but the bathrooms are shared amongst both gender - which i’m kinda worried about.

I saw a youtube tour of the dorm and saw the bathrooms didn’t even have any sort of curtains to cover up but a wall in between each shower area.

Can someone who has stayed there before please help tell me how exactly all the dorms facilities work please and thank you:)

(Rural) Sindh Qouta safe merit for USAT Bechlors program nomination for Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship ?

I am really worried 😭. As we know, many people cheat in the Sindh Board and easily get high percentages. Even though my domicile is from my village in Sindh where I was born, I studied under the Federal Board (FBISE) and got 70% in FSc through my own effort.

I am willing to work extremely hard for the USAT exam, but I am terrified that wealthy individuals will just pay money to buy high board and USAT marks and take away seats from deserving, honest students.

Any Pakistani?

Here for Hungary's Stipendium scholarship

I’m confused about whether Matric/FSc marks are added to the USAT score or not. I’ve seen it written somewhere that they do count, and some people are saying they don’t. Gemini says it’s 50% FSc and 50% USAT, while I saw a YouTube video saying they don’t count at all.

I’m honestly very confused. Why is no one explaining this properly? Bro, WTF 😭. Please, can someone at least tell me how it works for 2027?

Heyy! Are there any Pakistani aspirants or any international students here who could help me out with this?

Hey everyone! I’m 17 right now, and I’ll turn 18 in March 2027.

I’m seriously aiming to get a fully funded scholarship for a BSc in Computer Science at ELTE, but unfortunately, I have almost zero guidance about the whole process. I really don’t want to make any mistakes or waste my time, so I’m desperately looking for someone who has experience with this scholarship and can genuinely guide me.

As far as I know, for Pakistani students, the HEC nomination process involves the USAT, and the aggregate is calculated using 50% of 11th/12th-grade marks and 50% of the USAT score.

Unfortunately, I got 71% in 11th grade. I know that isn’t ideal, but I’m willing to work extremely hard for the USAT and try to improve my overall aggregate as much as possible.

The problem is that I have so many questions and no one around me who can properly guide me:

- What would be considered a safe/competitive aggregate for HEC nomination?

- With 71% in 11th grade, is it still realistically possible for me to get nominated if I score very high in USAT?

- What USAT score should I realistically aim for to have a strong chance?

- How exactly is the 50% academic + 50% USAT aggregate calculated?

- After taking the USAT, what are the next steps?

- How does the HEC nomination process work?

- How many students are usually nominated from Pakistan?

- Is there a separate merit list for different fields, or is everyone competing together?

- Does applying to ELTE for BSc Computer Science have any additional requirements?

- What academic documents will I need?

- Will I need an English proficiency test such as IELTS, and if so, at what stage?

- Are there any entrance exams or tests required by ELTE itself?

- What should I start preparing right now, before the scholarship applications open?

- What mistakes do Pakistani applicants commonly make during this process?

- Are there any important deadlines I should know about?

- After HEC nomination, what happens next with the university/scholarship application?

- How competitive is the scholarship specifically for Computer Science?

- Does being nominated by HEC guarantee the scholarship, or is there another selection stage?

- If someone has personally gone through this process from Pakistan, could you please explain the entire journey from USAT → HEC nomination → university application → final scholarship selection?

I’m genuinely serious about this and willing to put in the work. I just need someone experienced to point me in the right direction.

If you’re a Pakistani student who has applied for or received this scholarship, or an international student currently studying at ELTE, I would be extremely grateful if you could guide me or share your experience.

Even a little guidance would mean a lot to me. Thank you! ❤️
