Predatory Pricing Glitches and Abysmal Customer Service

StockX is an absolute nightmare to deal with when something goes wrong on their platform. I placed a clear bid for approximately $140 for a pair of shoes. Instead of processing my actual bid, StockX glitched or auto-fulfilled the charge at over $340 + fees —over double what I agreed to pay.

To make matters worse, I received absolutely nothing for my money. No shoes were delivered, and no refund was offered. When I reached out to customer support to resolve what is blatantly an error or unauthorized charge on their end, I was met with canned responses stating that 'all sales are final' and 'no refunds are provided.'

Taking money without delivering a product or honoring the actual placed bid is outright theft. Customer support refuses to escalate or review system errors. Avoid this platform at all costs—if their system mischarges you, they will hold your money hostage and leave you with zero recourse.

Is there an easy fix for this or should I return these?

Just got these Jordan 5 Michigans and there appears to be a stain of sorts in the suede. I lightly used a suede brush but nothing came of it. Is there an easy fix for this or should I return them?

Hyperwallet / PayPal Transfer

Does anyone know about how long it takes to transfer funds from the StockX Hyperwallet to PayPal? It’s been well over an hour. Just wanted to make sure I’m not getting duped. Lol.

Vans x The Monsters

I got ripped off twice trying to get the Vans Labubu Plush Doll, so I finally took to StockX. My first order was cancelled for whatever reason, and then I had to pay a little more for this one, but honestly, at this point, I just want the peace of mind. 😅

Is My Box Too Damaged?

I'm not a sneaker head at all and I've never used StockX before. I have this pair of GOT Ultra Boost that I bought on release day and never wore. I'd like to sell them but I'm worried that my box is too damaged for StockX to accept. Any opinions or advice for an alternate place to sell? I live in the middle of Alaska and have had no luck on Marketplace. TIA.

Sellers

Twice I’ve tried to buy a pair of shoes and the seller hasn’t sold them in time so I’ve been refunded. Why is this? Are sellers just bums and can’t get off their arse or is there another reason

Why NO updates

I was supposed to receive my package between the 13th and the 18th. I know the 18th hasn’t gotten here yet but I have no movement on my shoes. What’s the deal with StockX? This is my first time buying sneakers on this site and my daughter needs her shoes before school starts on the 24th.

STOP buying your sneakers from StockX

Until they stop shipping your sneakers using UniUni don’t buy from StockX. They charge a premium, over retail. You pay shipping and UniUni is an unreliable scam shipping company. Goat and Flight Club use FedEx, UPS AND DHL.

I only have this pair to sell. Is StockX a good idea or should I try on Ebay? The problem on Ebay is, that I probably won’t get retail price for them.

Don’t use goat spread the word haha these people have no shame and hire thugs to run their warehouses .

Advice?

Hello everyone I’m sure to some of you this might be a silly concern and I’m just being very dramatic but I’m just wondering if it’s normal for the lid to be like this?
It’s my first time buying anything from StockX, I had just bought a pair of shoes my boyfriends birthday that he wanted because they’re the same model as ones his brother in law had before he passed, however when they got here a side of the lid is just clean torn, still there but the sides are not attached to the rest.
Should I just return it and get a new one? The actual shoes and box are actually great I think I might just be worried it’ll somewhat ruin the surprise. I most definitely was not expecting perfection but I wasn’t expecting this!

Thank you

Ok.....my first issue as a seller

I got the rejection today for a brand new pair of Playboy Chinos from Supreme, they said they were used and sent pictures, nothing in the picture indicates this lol.

I called them, and he asked if I had pictures from before they were sent showing them new, I said yes, the pictures you sent me show that lol.

Will see where this goes with customer service.

Edit: the customer service rep came back and agreed with me finally that he couldn't see any signs of use from the pictures they sent and he is escalating it, they're going to get back to me in 72 hours.

Second Edit: they approved the escalation and are paying me out.

I have some older sneakers I’m looking to get rid of. Some of them are unworn, and from limited research they may have some interest. Any suggestions or advice?
