48x24. Looking forward to having my space back as I’ve been squirming around between this canvas and the materials in my small space for a few months. But happy with the vibe of this final work!
I took this shot of a merging supercell system creating maximum chaos in the sky for a few brief moments before it closed in on me. Shot handheld, 14mm, f/40, 1/40s, ISO 64. All photos taken by me, Adam Jackson, a Houston, Texas based storm chaser and photographer.
I built a local severe weather analog dashboard using hourly weather station data from Cottonwood, Alabama since Dec 2023. I tagged a confirmed EF2 tornado event and built an atmospheric comparison engine that searches historical environments for similar setups.
Still in the works though.

The weather nerd in me is excited! This tiny, city-sized thunderhead just appeared out of nowhere. It's been rumbling for hours while it shrinks and grows. It's now dropping hail, apparently. Literally blue skies ALL around, and then this little monster.
